Starting WW tomorrow! Does it actually work?

So I've been trying (and failing) to stick to 1200 calories a day so I've signed up for WW and start tomorrow.

I've planned out my food for tomorrow and have used 19 points so far but it still seems like a lot of food if you factor in zero foods like fruit/veg/protein etc.

Has anyone had good losses with WW? Does it actually work? 😬

I'd love to hear your stories!

I had 50 points yesterday - there was a chocolate chip cookie from Subway in the afternoon and a full serving of pasta with my tea and I had butter and jam on my toast.

Just out of curiosity, I added up the calories and it was still in a deficit. In fact, it was exactly what I should have to maintain my target weight.

I know a lot of people try to not eat their weeklies, but they're there to help the diet be sustainable over the long term.

If you can honestly go the rest of your life not eating sweets and fats, fine. But most of us need to be ready for regular eating with balance.
