Your lunch sounds gorgeous BigBadAss

Yesterday;
Boiled Egg
Scotch Broth
Salmon Fillet w/Cauli and Broc
At bedtime a small whisky in lieu of hot chocolate.

Feeling so much better already now I've ditched the baddies. Skin better, not so bloated, full of energy and my asthma isn't so bad. Much less wind too.

Im still sticking to eating healthily, I'm quite proud. I have lost 2lb. Must try and go swimming this week.

How much exercise are you all doing? Im walking to and from work, and to and from shops but not much else.

I'm going to start my walking again.

Have been doing well all week and haven't cheated as such but have had large quantity of food this weekend.

Feeling very low and very fat tonight.
Wish I could afford to do Cambridge for a couple of months.

Can't believe last summer I was less than a stone away from my goal and here I am now with almost four sodding stone to lose. Again.

oggs- could you do slimfast instead of cambridge? it is half price in tesco atm

Oggsdog · 11/01/2009 21:19

Curry not so bad, it's all the extras. No crisps is very good .

I know.It has been years now hasn't it? I feel ashamed that I can't get this under control.

Haven't had potatoes, wheat, sugar or cow's milk all week which is good.

Oggsdog · 11/01/2009 21:22

Is Slimfast a total meal replacement Sealion? Have you tried it?

I've only got one pair of jeans (stretch) that I can get into at the moment, and one other pair of trousers that I wear at home.
That's it out of my whole wardrobe .

moodlumhohohoodlum · 12/01/2009 17:55

evening all

I fell off the wagon big time this weekend, but back on it today. When I fall off the wagon there is just no stopping me, its either feast or famine.

So far today I've had..

Grapefruit
1/2 hot X bun no butter
ham salad
the other half of the hot X bun
so much coffee as to give me the jitters..

Am starving. But one thing is winning, because in an effort to stop eating I am doing some housework which makes a change.

Gawd but my life is exciting.

cheekysealion · 12/01/2009 20:19

it is not meant to be total meal replacement...

i tend to have 2 and a meal of protein and veg..

or 3 plus fruit

it may just give you a quick boost you need

Oggsdog · 13/01/2009 10:59

What sort of loss do you achieve Sealion? I might buy a tub as a fall back. They do appear to be very high in carbs though and I tend to do best on low carb.

Keep it up Moodlum - the house will look better if nothing else .

I've dug out all of my books and have decided to go with Charles Clark's Low GI/Low Carb as it keeps carbs under control but allows small portions of pasta/noodles/pulses etc, and means I can have porridge or yoghurt and fruit for breakfast.
Hopefully this way I won't feel too deprived and will be able to stay on track.

I've re-started my morning walks. Approx 30 mins walking up/downhill. Started yesterday and know from experience that it will boost my loss.

The water really does make a difference doesn't it?

What sort of nursing are you doing? General? I spent a couple of weeks of my (abandoned) training on a renal ward.
You must clock up a fair few miles of walking a day?

I'm not looking forward to my walk this morning. It's bloody freezing and my legs ache. The first hill I do is a killer

Had a look at Slimfast today but won't be getting any. The carb count is way too high. I'd just end up feeling hungry.

Stocked up on cheese, meat and veg and will carry on doing low carb/low GI and hope for the best.

What does an adult nurse do?

Yes, that's what I know as General as opposed to Psychiatric (what I did).

I think I might change my weigh day. Monday is very soon after the weekend which is when I tend to relax somewhat. I think Thursday would be my best day for weighing; will see what happens on Monday.

Felt very virtuous all day but have spoilt it all by eating a third of a french stick with butter .
Back on track tomorrow.

Oggsdog · 16/01/2009 07:35

I managed to up my intake to a half a french stick covered in butter, a large tub of small peppers stuffed with cream cheese and drizzled with tabasco and a bottle of mulled wine .

But that was all I ate all day. Bit of a hodge podge day really .

Back on track today though won't be able to do my walk. Will have eggs and ham for breakfast.

Do you think you'll go tonight Strawb?
