Posting for accountability - Weight Loss Diary

I was doing really well with weight loss and managed to drop 2.5stone. Unfortunately I’ve gained a stone back and now would like to become motivated to head in the right direction again. Created this thread so I can do my daily weigh ins with accountability I.e if I miss a weigh in or continuously gain then I’ll be embarrassed enough to do something about it (or I’ll have to disappear and name change 😂) When I’m committed to weight loss, I find daily weigh ins help me to stay on track although I only really take notice of the overall loss/gain on a weekly basis. I know there are lots of weight loss chat threads but I struggle to keep up with them and then feel guilty for posting in them without acknowledging previous posts and other people’s journey.

First weigh in will be in the morning but I think I’m around 11st 10lbs and 5ft 3ins right now.

Hi @Obeseandashamed well done for keeping at it.

I've made a good start to the new year 😊 I've been doing much more exercise and keeping myself on track.

My weigh-in this Wednesday was 10st 11.75lbs! 🥳🥳

Still here! Not gaining but not losing either. I’ve been unable to be as active as I’d like as we’ve all been down with another round of the winter bugs. The kids seem to pass it between themselves and we catch the tail end of it. Hoping more fresh foods and anti-oxidants will help the diet and the immune system. I have a target weight I’d like to reach by the end of May and it is still achievable so feeling positive despite the setbacks 🤞🏽

Hi @Obeseandashamed sorry to hear you have all been unwell and well done for not gaining despite this.

I've lost a little bit since last posting - 10st 10lb this morning. But it seems to have all slowed a bit and I'm actually 1lb up since last week despite doing 3 body conditioning classes last week! I've been really focused on exercise, but it currently appears to have made little difference on the scales. (I'm blaming water weight in the muscles from the additional strength training!)

Anyway well done for keeping at it. I'm sure we'll get there eventually!

A better week this week. Just over 1.5lbs off. The scales have been up and down all week, but luckily Wednesday has been kind to me! 10st 8.4lbs today

Hope you are feeling better @Obeseandashamed x
