Scales saying I’m 9.2 stone can’t be right?

I am a size 12 top 14 legs. I have big thighs in my opinion and my arms have a bit of fat. I am 5ft 2 or 5ft 3. I bought Renpho scales and tried a number of times but it keeps showing me as 9.2. It can’t be right as others who say they’re the same weight are a size 10.

I should be about your weight and height but currently quite porky. At that weight I fit a size 10 approx. I'm 10.6 stone now and size 12 at least

That just made me think about pork pies. Don’t tempt me

I'm probably about 9.2 stone or more at 5'2" and wear a 6-8 but I weightlift and keep muscle easily.

Body comp is incredibly individual. Clothes size means little.

I was going to say exactly this.

9st 2 of muscle and 9st 2 of fat is going to look very different. The number on the scale is meaningless.

my resolution will be to gain muscle then. I should get some weights

I’m 12 stone and currently wearing a size 12. I need to be 10.5 to comfortably fit into a 10. At 9.5, I’m a size 8. No one actually believes how much I weigh!

I recommend it. I stopped weighing myself some time ago because my weight is no longer relevant to me. I've got considerably heavier without getting any bigger and indeed, in some places, slightly smaller. Also it increases your resting metabolic rate.
