Every body I know has stood on mine and been over weight then my mother breezes in bang on perfect but her balance is shot hahahah although I think this has more to do with the fact we poked her because she had such a good score

I have done 1/2 an hour a day too I tried the press ups yesterday I am so pleased no one was there to see that performance

micci25 · 28/04/2008 09:55

my fitness is 30 and im 26 so i dont think thats too bad but am obese ( i knew that anyway)but dd1 is 30 too and she is only 4!!! dont think she knows how to work it properly yet though! and i have finally found something i am better than dp at!

think im going to aim for about half an hour a day whats every one else doing?

lilyloo · 28/04/2008 13:23

am yet to do my half hour today and haven't attempted any of the muscle workouts yet !

RedFraggle · 28/04/2008 13:28

I'm 32 but my wiifit age is 46 My bmi is 24 though - so it's not all bad. I did 40 minutes on it yesterday and am aiming for at least 30 minutes a day.

Can I ask you what gender trainer you all went for out of interest?

Twinkie1 · 28/04/2008 13:30

OOOOOhhhhh am so jealous - bought a wii and a fitboard in Woolwoths on Friday which is for Dhs birthday on the 6th June - DS told him we had bought hima boxing game so he knows he has got it but miserable old bugger wants to not have it until his birthday - I could be a stone lighter by then!

Am off to the real gym now though for a light walk to see if I can work back up to running after my op!

Will keep watching your progress though and try and garner some tips for when he lets us unwrap the bloody thing!

lilyloo · 28/04/2008 13:45

for the woman , am hoping to look like that soon
dp went for her too and thought she was really talking to him when she was explaining how to view her from the back or the front !

RedFraggle · 28/04/2008 14:21

I went for the bloke and DH went for the woman. I just wondered how it balanced out, whether people tended to go for the opposite gender or not...

I liked that he told me I had beautiful form and moved really well during my yoga session

micci25 · 29/04/2008 16:45

i went for the woman dp went for the woman too! i have fallen out with my wii fit! my wii fit aghe has changed and and i have out on two pounds!!

how can you age 14 years and put on two pounds in less than 24 hours?!!!

surprise · 29/04/2008 19:34

boring techy question, but has anyone had trouble with connecting wirelessly to the internet since installing wii fit?

kidsrus · 29/04/2008 21:22

sorry surprise can't help you there i haven't connected to the internet yet.

i have been doing the body test every day since fri and ive lost 2lb by working on yoga/muscles for 30mins am and areobic/balance 30 mins pm.

my bmi is better and my age is now correct hoooooooooooray (i was getting worried).

loving the super hula hoop and the advanced step.
My trainer is eye candy (male) why else would i get out of bed early, to do exercise(dont think so).

OP posts:
LuLu15 · 29/04/2008 22:26

surprise - we had the same problem - if your wireless is integral to your computer switch the wireless connection switch on and off.

RedFraggle · 30/04/2008 17:22

I've lost 2 lb already and my my wiifit age has dropped from 46 to 23! I did one hour 10 mins today.

Kidsrus - I love those two as well - I love the super hula hoop and I actually think my waist is a bit trimmer (must measure it actually so I can check if it is changing) The advanced step is great but I always lose my rhythm somewhere in the middle...
I've also unlocked a boxing thing today which is brilliant - especially once I noticed I was supposed to be moving my feet off the balance board...
I went for the bloke too. I pretend he is flirting with me when he praises my balance and "beautiful form" [preen] helps keep me motivated (that's my excuse anyway). Also I didn't want a super-slim female bossing me about!

surprise · 30/04/2008 17:50

Got it sorted now, thanks. Have done an hour today, mainly on advanced step. also love the football header one when you get hit in the face with shoes

RedFraggle · 05/05/2008 12:08

I've been on for an average of 30 minutes a day and although my weight hasn't moved much I keep being told that I look as though as I've lost weight and my waist is definitely trimmer. So much so that I wore a size 12 skirt on saturday (comfortably I might add!) I'm not in my size 12 jeans yet though but at least I feel I am making progress.
I've just done 54 minutes (3 lots of advanced step, a 6 minute boxing, lots of muscle stuff and a fair bit of yoga. I am not hot, sticky and out of breath!
I was most annoyed when doing the candle thing as I got to 126 and then DS crawled across the floor and grabbed my knee. I tried again when he was in bed and managed to complete it. Very relaxing...
I haven't done the shoulder stand yet - it is unlocked but I haven't got to that yet. I did that lord of the dance one today for the first time and found it rather taxing. My lovely trainer kept saying "your body is swaying slightly"

kidsrus · 06/05/2008 23:12

pmsl @ the candle thing i can't sit still that long my legs go dead!
well done red fraggle keep it up.
i have been doing yoga and then the muscle exercise to go with each position, followed by 2 lots of advance step and hula.
has anyone fell over when they have run too fast?
what about the different dogs you follow and my ds has noticed he can watch himself jump off a cliff on his jog!

OP posts:
RedFraggle · 07/05/2008 09:25

I find the jogging very hard! Which I guess means I should ideally do it more since it is clearly working.... I'll have a go later and see if I can find the cliff
I am really pleased at my progress so far though - It's only been a week and a half and I already feel fitter and a wee bit thinner. Great!
Do you think they will release add-on packs in the future? I think they should consider it, I would love to see Wiifit Tai Chi and more advanced, advanced step! It would also be great if you could set a program of exercises and then just go through them without having to return to the menu to change yoga pose / muscle execise...

What would others like to see more of - just out of interest.
