For context I'm 36 and tdee is 1500 calories. I had bran flakes for breakfast, banana few hours later, followed by a cheese and cucumber sandwich and an apple soreen bar. It's midday and I'm now sitting here feeling so sick. I don't know if I've ate too much, not enough but I just feel awful.

Surely green yoghurt would make the OP feel even sicker GrinGrin

I've made that sound QUITE disgusting!!😂

I too am confused how people think branflakes, a banana, a sandwich and a cake bar is a lot of food for breakfast and lunch. Sounds pretty standard to me!? I assume the sandwich was lunch (it’s not unheard of me to eat mine at 11.30 if I’ve been up since 5.30). I don’t think it’s great nutritionally but not something that should make someone feel sick.

Edited

Personally that is a similar amount to food I would eat in a day (albeit very different, more nutritious food) so yes that is why I feel it’s a lot of food, I equally didn’t view it initially as lunch but do realise that probably was an early lunch.

However, I will say I probably have a skewed view on food amounts as somebody who has been overweight my entire life and needs to eat a VLCD to lose/maintain weight.

A rough calc in MFP assumed 55g of bran flakes,200ml of semi skimmed milk, 2 slice of wholemeal bread and 30g of cheddar cheese puts this around 750-800 calories so only about half of the OP's TDEE

But what about the banana and the cake bar and the fact it wasn't even midday when she had had it?

That included the banana and cake bar and they don’t say what time they ate breakfast so why does it matter if lunch was early?? That still leaves calories for an afternoon snack and a decent dinner!

The feeling sick was probably just a coincidence. If the sandwich was lunch then I really don't see what all the fuss is about.
