@Athena51 Ohh no, I wasn't suggesting keto or even extreme low carb, just keeping the carbs in check. I still eat bread (but no butter/spread), rice, pasta, fruit etc too. I don't eat potatoes routinly but that's because I don't eat much they would go with rather than that I don't like them I'll happily eat them in briam or a potato salad. I do count myself as a low carber and I can "fit" all those carbs in. But a low carber is anyone who eats less than 150gm/day according to my Dr, whereas national average tends to be around 300-500.
I'm with you on too much fat, it certainly makes me queasy especially on Ozempic 🤢
I don't think I'm actually eating (or suggesting eating) substantially differently to what you describe, I just use differentv terminology and emphasise different bits 🙂
I do agree that what suits one didn't necessarily suit another, we all have to find what works for us, but Ozempic is designed to affect the pancreas and therefore insulin and blood sugar so it makes sense to attend to the food that directly affects those things especially if you're not having the results you want.
I have no idea what the difference between my frothy coffee and a latte is - mine's made in a moka pot (so espresso), topped up with boiling water and then steamed milk - i don't have a coffee machine just an aeropress and a moka pot. It's just a normal mug full, one in the morning and one after dinner it's my treat too, though it's also my normal way to drink coffee 😅
I've never heard of "best of both" milk, what is it?
