Not sure if there's one of these around! But I'm going to weigh myself in the morning and have an amazing week and then weigh in every Saturday morning! Anyone fancy joining?
I've gained about a stone over the holidays but I'll know for sure in the morning 😬
I need something to work towards or else I get lost 🙈

I’ve had a crap week food wise and as such have gained a pound 😢 I do deserve it though, I suppose.

peanutbutterontoast7 · 19/11/2022 09:14

I had a really bad week the week before last when it was my period week. I weighed on Monday and o was 11 stone 1. Weighed today and I'm 10 stone 12 3/4.
Felt a bit more in control this week though for the first time in ages! Hoping it can carry through to next week!

Rogue1001MNer · 19/11/2022 10:44

Morning all.

I stayed same this week, but determined next week will be better.

@TwentyForty if you think your clothes seem looser, try measuring as well as weighing.
The tape measure might be your friend. Especially if you're building muscle

newme4lanzarote23 · 22/11/2022 07:36

Hi, please could I join? I was on another thread which seems to have died a death..I had been doing well, but have been of the rails for the last few weeks.
I started in Sept at 15st 8.5. Currently 14 st 9.5lbs. My goal weight is 10st so still a way to go but small steps.
Have holidays booked next year and really want to be feeling healthy and confident 😊

StarcourtMall · 26/11/2022 07:19

I haven’t weighed in since September as I stopped running and was sure I’d put weight back on. Today I took the plunge and weighed myself and I am 10st 13 (I was 11st 3 in Sep) so I’m pretty relieved. The last few weeks I’ve been doing one fasting day a week and will try and up it to 2 days a week. My target is 10.5 st by spring. Dry January should help too.

TwentyForty · 26/11/2022 08:48

Week 0: 126.6 lbs
Week 1: 123.8 lbs
Week 2: 122.8 lbs
Week 3: 125 lbs
Week 4: 123.6 lbs
Today: 123.6lbs

So disappointed! But I must be eating at maintenance. I've upped my exercise a bit too, doing 20k steps a day all week so I hoped I'd lost half a 1lb....

I think I'll have to be super strict and start cutting kcal more. At least that initial 3lbs is definitely gone though, and not gone back on!

Right, super strict week coming up.

Rogue1001MNer · 17/09/2022 12:10

May I join?
I don't want to say my weight because I'm a good deal heavier than all of you, but I'm working on it.

Saturday is my weigh day, and I lost 4lb this week.

Next week won't be as good, unfortunately as I'm out 3 times which not only means less healthy food, but also I'm going to miss exercise classes. Determined to keep on with this path though, even if next week will be a blip

That's fantastic. Well done you.

railwaysleepervegpatch · 26/11/2022 08:50

I need to join. Been trying to get to 9 stone for years now. Fluctuate between 9st 4 or 9st 7. Just want to get down to 9 which is when I feel I look my best.

newme4lanzarote23 · 26/11/2022 09:22

Hope it's okay to tag along? I have a lot more to lose than others on this thread but would love to join as a bit of motivation each week...so first weigh in today.

Started September at 15st 8.5lbs

26th Nov: 14st 8lbs

I measured today and think I'm about the same 😟 why is this so tough! How have you got on this week?

That's an absolutely amazing loss since Sept, well done!

At my heaviest I was nearly 200lbs so I definitely sympathise with how impossible it feels when you have more to lose, but it is very very doable, you are doing brilliantly.

newme4lanzarote23 · 26/11/2022 11:47

Thank you @TwentyForty. To be honest I went a little off the rails over Oct but determined to get back on track rather throw it all away. I have yo yoed all my life. Before having kids I lost 8 stone (18st to 10st) so I know I can do it. Definitely don't want to end up being back at 18 stone so time to get myself back healthy 😊 2 holidays next year and want to be feeling confident x

Rogue1001MNer · 26/11/2022 13:03

Hello to newbies 👋

@newme4lanzarote23 that's an incredible achievement, good for you. You and I are two of the heaviers on the thread, so we're gonna be here a while.

@TwentyForty, that seems so unfair when you're doing so much.
As well as weighing, I'm measuring weekly and keeping a record of both. I hope it'll be worth it for both of us.

I have stayed same for 3rd week running <very heavy sigh>
But will keep on keeping on.
I'm still hopeful of losing 1/2 stone over the next 3 - 4 weeks, even though current results show this is increasingly unlikely. But, I'm not giving up. At least I'm not gaining, and I'm definitely healthier.

See you guys next week x

newme4lanzarote23 · 27/11/2022 09:26

Thank you @Rogue1001MNer hopefully we can help each other stay on track x

TwentyForty · 03/12/2022 06:56

Morning everyone! How are you all doing?

Week 0: 126.6 lbs
Week 1: 123.8 lbs
Week 2: 122.8 lbs
Week 3: 125 lbs
Week 4: 123.6 lbs
Week 5: 123.6 lbs
Today: 122.4 lbs

Hurrah! Finally! 6 weeks to lose 4.2 lbs though... hoping it'll keep me motivated enough to keep consistent over Christmas.

New goal - 120 lbs by January.

DH is under strict instructions not to buy any Christmas 'treats' - my ethos is, if it ain't in the house, I can't eat it!!

Rogue1001MNer · 03/12/2022 07:52

Morning all.

Stayed the same.
Again

newme4lanzarote23 · 03/12/2022 08:37

26/11 - 14st 8lbs
03/12 - 14st 7lbs

1lb off this week. Moving a little slow but going in the right direction

TwentyForty · 03/12/2022 10:16

Rogue1001MNer · 03/12/2022 07:52

Keep with it! Plateau's can be demoralising but it's def better than a gain.

Well done @newme4lanzarote23

Rogue1001MNer · 03/12/2022 10:29

I know. I am.

Well done @newme4lanzarote23
That's a win

Well done @TwentyForty
Very good result for you

NewToWoo · 03/12/2022 10:48

Oh dear I really need this thread. Weighed in today at 157 lbs!!!! I knew I'd put weight on but that is a shocker. Weighed myself the other day and I was 155 which is way too heavy but to have added 2lbs in two days is pretty disastrous. I have definitely been comfort eating and curled up on the couch for days. Yesterday I went to a two hour dance class but then ate chocolate on the way home and had a very late dinner. So sort of cancelled the virtue of the workout. I wasn;t even hungry. Self sabotage!

I need to get back to far more regular exercise and NO SNACKING. The meals I eat are pretty healthy. It's the snacks that add about 500-600 calories every single day.

railwaysleepervegpatch · 09/12/2022 19:49

I've had a very stressful week ending in 9st 1. Not maintainable but boy do I feel better at this weight. If only I could find the holy grail of weight maintenance.

TwentyForty · 10/12/2022 06:41

Time of the month for me, I've had 4 ravenous days in the lead up as well as a mammoth sweet tooth so I'm not weighing today!! It'll only depress me...

Hope everyone else is doing better.

Rogue1001MNer · 10/12/2022 07:36

Hello at @NewToWoo
Snacking is my downfall too.

I've stayed the same for the 5th week running.

But I'm taking that as a win because I've massively over-eaten this week.

Gonna keep weighing in though.

Have a good week, all.

TwentyForty · 17/12/2022 06:35

Morning!

Well. I've been awful this week. Eaten fish & chips, biscuits, cake, and yesterday I watched Avatar 2 and ate a whole bag of minstrels.

122.6

I'll take it.

Rogue1001MNer · 21/12/2022 14:02

It's still creeping down @TwentyForty
Go you!

I didn't weigh on Saturday as was away.
But I weighed this morning, and I lost 1lb

Obviously, that's nothing, but as I'd stayed the same for 5 weeks, I'm absolutely thrilled to have finally seen some movement AND in the right direction (even though its infinitesimal)
