10am outside the cafe will be great. I was going to ask how we will recognise eachother but at 10am on a mid week December morning Stanley Park won't exactly be packed will it? (I'm the big fat one, anyway )

Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:44

Blackpool.
PS am lying about lettuce etc. Ive had a dodgy belly for a couple of weeks and havent got my appitite back yet. Ive prayed for the shits for a year now, and its been worth the wait!!!

bonniej · 30/11/2004 19:44

I live in blackpool, and Donbean lives in a posh area nearby

Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:45

No doubt you will hear us comming, DS isnt shy now he has found his voice!

Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:46

OOOH posh and nearly not morbidly obese any more...its my night for compliments.

bonniej · 30/11/2004 19:47

He is nearly the same age as dd isn't he? I'm really looking forward to them meeting. She doesn't have much contact with other children the same age.

bottle · 30/11/2004 19:48

i'm in london, i envy you living by the sea - know what you mean re praying for gastro enteritis,
hope you both enjoy your meet up

OP posts:
Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:48

He is 17 months. Born in July, what about DD, whens her birthday?

bottle · 30/11/2004 19:49

you two have broadband i think as by the time i have said anything you seem to have had a whole conversation i am off now to do some more health eating

OP posts:
bonniej · 30/11/2004 19:50

I come from London originally and have lived here for about 5 years. I also thought it would be great to live near the sea, but when you do you tend not to make the most of it.

Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:50

Thanks Bottle, yes living near a sewage works is bliss

bonniej · 30/11/2004 19:52

dd was born on 8th June, so she's slightly older. She doesn't really say much yet though. Does your little man say anything yet?

bottle, don't eat anything unless it's healthy. I need you for motivation

Donbean · 30/11/2004 19:54

He does yes, his speach is comming on great. Dont worry about DD though, she will speak in her own sweet time.
I hate to compare, they are all so very different.
Im looking forward to meeting you too.
BTW, did you narrow down the origin of DD's sickness?

bonniej · 30/11/2004 19:59

Not really. She just seemed so well. I spoke to NHS direct who said not to worry and just to keep an eye on her. Haven't a clue what caused it as the rest of the family have been fine. Things are definately getting better and she hasn't been sick again, but still has pale nappy offerings. I'm not really worried about her speech but you read so much about what they should/shouldn't be doing by a certain age. It can be easy to get hung up on it.

bonniej · 30/11/2004 20:02

I'm off to watch Holby now. It's been nice chatting and I'll see you on Thursday. No cakes in the cafe though x

Donbean · 30/11/2004 20:02

Its just that DS had the very same thing (not the poo) so i was wondering if you knew what had caused it.
He too was well in himself untill he got a throat infection, cough and cold....i havent slept in weeks. I will be the one asleep on the steps at stanley park when we meet up!

bonniej · 30/11/2004 20:04

It's weird you saying that as dh has a chest infection, but no tummy problems. I wonder if it's the same bug responsible for both? It's hard when they're ill isn't it? Friday night was awful as I had to put dd in bed with me as her mattress was wet and she spent most of the night slapping me round the face to try and wake me up! Anyway hope your little one sleeps better tonight. I really am going now, bye

bottle · 01/12/2004 22:20
