I have been drinking loads of lager and eating too much crap

I need to get back into being sensible

I follow the SW plan normally, but I have completely lost it since I went on holiday in Se[ptember, and subsequently have put on a stone since then

I do have quite a lot to lose, so who would like to either jpoin me, or kick me up my not inconsiderable backside?????

minus

You are exactly the same as me with the wine! I cannot help it i get in from work and that's it! I got in at half 10 last night and drank a bottle of white...as dp was away and i was feelign sorry for myself!

Ideally i'd love to be a size 12, my first aim is a 16, then a 14 and then a 12.....

I don't have any scaled to weigh myself with though as mine appear to be broken!

Dp is back on Sat so i'll get him to do some measurements fro me as they always seem to work!

I've just had two segments of a terry's choccy orange....

colditz · 28/12/2007 14:59

I have had

2 rounds of wholemeal toast with scrape of butter

2 small prawn rolls with lots of prawns but not spread or mayo.

No fruit or veg. As usual.

fedda · 28/12/2007 16:40

Please, can I join? I've been so good up to November and I've lost all my will power. I don't stop eating. Chocolates with nuts are my weak points so i have 4 in one go!

Smithagain · 28/12/2007 17:35

OK - tea time is approaching. I am hungry. In the normal course of events, I would now be helping myself to slabs of bread and butter to stave off hunger pangs for the - ooooh, let's see - 10 minutes remaining before tea time. I'm on here distracting myself. Can I have a brownie point please?

fedda · 28/12/2007 17:48

I've just had a wonderful apple. That wouldn't make you fat but it will take hunger away.

Smithagain · 28/12/2007 18:31

You are so right. Maybe the fruit bowl needs to be on the food preparation surface, not in the next room

fedda · 28/12/2007 23:39

You know, that's a good idea but in my case actually it was in the next room. Mind you, I had 4 chockes with coffee with two white sugars after dinner so you see who is talking. I'm good at giving advice but I'm bad for myself

colditz · 28/12/2007 23:45

I give excellent diet advice.

I don't, however, have an excellent diet

fedda · 28/12/2007 23:47

Yes, tha's how it is. Works every time.

Scramble · 28/12/2007 23:48

Colditz so does 95% of the female population . Most woman the size of a small bus can tell you the calories or points in a 2 finger kitkat

HappyChristmasWalrusIsOver · 29/12/2007 13:04

I have been not too bad today, but I'm going to a party tonight so I can see myself consuming 12,000 calories worth of alcohol (I'm not drinking on Hogmany so this is my big splurge out tonight )

fedda · 29/12/2007 14:10

The more people post the better chance for all of us to slim down after the New Year.

SheikYerbouti · 29/12/2007 15:24

Mince pies again.....

Please kick me up the arse

(it's walrus with new name, btw)

mazzystar · 29/12/2007 15:48

hello, please can i join you?

[delivers dainty boot to walrus's arse]

please kick mine back, its not easy to miss

have lost 2 and a bit stone since July, but another 1 and a half to go to get to something acceptably healthy, and its getting tougher. have been hitting the carbs and booze with gay abandon for couple of weeks

i've been low carbing with neris and india but its not sustainable in the long term

colditz · 29/12/2007 16:48

I had porridge made with 1/2 ff milk and 1/2 water, with 1/2 a banana chopped in. 2 scrambled eggs with dryfried mushrooms. Lump of cheese (30g?) and 2 crispbread. 1 water cracker and a slice of haslet.

But OH, such a nice and dreadfully unhealthy lamb curry in the oven. OH deear.

fedda · 29/12/2007 17:43

colditz, sounds wonderful to me. Enjoy it. You're doing so much better then me.

mazzystar · 29/12/2007 18:29

lamb curry ......swoon....

want some

colditz · 29/12/2007 18:37

Made with leftover lamb, and tomatoes, and veg, and double cream .... oh it's not healthy, not healthy at all. God it was so good. My mum stopped by briefly at teatime and even she waffled a plate full down her gullet (insisting, of course, that I must have used "a sauce")

fedda · 29/12/2007 19:37

That means you didn't have too much if it was shared. there is nothing wrong with using some cream once in a while.
