It's probably just another gimmick but I am getting desperate now.

I'd be interested to hear people's opinions and results.

What are you eating whilst taking this?

So yesterday for example I had
Meal replacement diet shake
Ham salad sandwich, apple
Spaghetti bolognaise
I had a chocolate fudge and a packet of low fat crisps
Normally I binge eat at night but I wasn’t hungry at all
Fingers crossed I can keep it going as I really need to lose minimum of 2 stone

Yesterday was my first day, I ate what I normally would on a typical day. I was expecting to eat less, as in smaller portions, but I was hungrier than I usually am. I'm hoping today I won't be as hungry.

Yesterday I ate, breakfast - bowl of cereal, dinner - chicken salad in a wrap and a yoghurt, tea - tuna pasta bake with side salad and garlic bread. Drinks- water and a glass of grapefruit juice mid-afternoon.

Today I have had cereal for breakfast, will probably have a sandwich/wrap for lunch, chicken stir fry for tea. If I have a snack it will be yoghurt or fruit. I may also end up having another bowl of cereal or a meal replacement shake as I have a personal training session later, but I will only have it if I feel that I need it.

i'm also prone to nighttime overeating once kids in bed - I find it's really curtailed it as I'm really full by the end of the day. It's not miraculous but I reckon I've pulled 1 Kg off by day 5 and hopeful for a bit more by the end.

Think it's a useful kick start to changing your habits.

spiceyegg · 08/05/2018 15:46

Hubble- you think you will of lost 1kg by day 5 ?

hubblebubbleworry · 08/05/2018 18:20

Definitely have, weighed self this am. I’ve not been dieting especially hard so quite happy.

spiceyegg · 08/05/2018 19:59

That is fantastic, well done you Smile

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 08/05/2018 20:42

Ooh that's brilliant hubble! Star

spiceyegg · 09/05/2018 10:31

Just collected my order from Holland & Barrett. Opening the box now!

christmashope · 09/05/2018 21:08

So today I have been hungry and picking
1 slice toast with cheesy scrambled eggs
4 oatcakes with peanut butter
Roast beef with tatties, veg and 1 Yorkshire pudding
2 Cadbury fudges
I have no idea anymore if what I eat in a day is too much/too little
My relationship with food is really bad
Sorry just wanted to vent
Tomorrow’s another day and reality is I would normally have ate more than that if I was binging

EinsteinsArousedSausagesHCB · 09/05/2018 22:02

I don't know if boombod is going to work for me, but I plan on sticking with it for the 2 full weeks.

I've not noticed that I've eaten any less, plus I've been ravenous all the time. Anyway I had a personal training session, and mentioned that my weight loss had stalled, and I've been struggling to shift anything, even though I do a lot of exercise. I didn't mention boombod. Advice was that I am probably not eating enough and should eat more high protein food.

Obviously with that in mind, I'm unsure if it'll work for me but I do believe it's a good support as a starting point for dieting.

Am on my first day today and had all three sachets. Have definitely eaten less but am a little concerned about continuing as stomach feels a bit crampy at times and 'unsettled'. Am also burping more than normal! Worried that the above will get worst Shock

christmashope · 10/05/2018 18:10

I have had no cramps or burps lol
Hope your ok x

Hubblebubbleworry · 10/05/2018 19:11

That doesn’t sound good - I just felt almost uncomfortably full but no other issues!

Rassy · 10/05/2018 19:47

Thanks for your comments- not made a decision yet. Feel ok now - will probably take it a sachet at a time...

llmb · 11/05/2018 07:30

Iv been lurking on here as iv been on slimfast for few weeks and although I only wanted to lose half a stone I wasn’t loosing any weight. I saw boombod in the papers and thought yeah yeah, Iv tried them all. I gave in, bogof and today is day 6 for me. I’m definitely less bloated and have lost 2lbs this week.... I have another week left. They definitely take down if my appetite away. I’m not craving sweet stuff which is great.

badgerread · 11/05/2018 14:45

Day 3 here and I'm definitely feeling less hungry. I've only had half a pot of fresh soup so far...
I weighed myself morning of Day 1 and will again tomorrow on Day 4 and let you know.

I'm not sure how much of it is mind over matter though!

llmb · 11/05/2018 17:12

I’m so much less bloated than normal...

Does anyone know how long you can stay on this for?

christmashope · 11/05/2018 18:23

I’m definitely not feeling as hungry as I normally do
I almost forgot to have breakfast this morning!

badgerread · 12/05/2018 07:56

Day 4 and I've lost 3 pounds!

llmb · 13/05/2018 07:40

badger have you reduced your calorie intake dramatically? I love how less bloated i am that I have ordered another 2 weeks.... doesn’t say how long you can stay on it though? Any one?

spencerreidswife · 13/05/2018 10:46

I started this on Thursday. So far I've lost a pound a day. Definitely eaten less than I would normally as not tempted to snack or go back for seconds.Im not great in the morning lethargic etc but so much better whilst taking this, more energy and like someone else said a bit giddy!!
I got it on a BOGOF online so tempted to do it for the two weeks in a row has anyone else done that?

llmb · 13/05/2018 10:51

I’m on second week. I feel a bit sick after taking them but nothing terrible. Have emailed them to ask how long you can take them for safely.

LizzyELane · 13/05/2018 12:51

I've got 2 weeks worth and starting tomorrow. I'm signed up to WW online but the 'success' stories of people losing, for example, 2 stone over one year totally put me off. I'm too impatient and need fast and encouraging results to start me off. Have put on a stone since last summer and none of my summer clothes fit, my face has puffed up, feel rubbish. No money for new summer clothes as not working at moment. Altho if this method doesn't help I'll have wasted 30 quid!! I'm thinking of trying 800 cals a day, after all Dr Michael Mosley has based a whole book around this so it can't be too harmful. Please keep posting everyone, and let me know how you're getting on!

ShangriLaLaLa · 14/05/2018 12:06

Started today for two weeks. I’m just hoping it kick starts a better attitude to snacking and helps me shift my bloaty tum. We’ll see.
