... then if exercise is causing extreme hunger, should you stop/ cut down?

I’m doing Insanity Max 30 and I’m soooo frigging hungry, it’s actually painful. It’s like I can’t get full.

So is it better to eat more, cut down the exercise or ignore the hunger?

I’ve been trying to ignore it, but I’ve actually put on 4lbs since starting Insanity although I’m unsure if that’s muscle, so I think I’ve been overeating at meal times.

WWYD?

I always have full fat greek yoghurt. I don't think 0% has any sugar added however it is made with skimmed milk i.e. milk that has had all the fat removed therefore you have more lactose therefore it is higher in milk sugar and therefore carbs.

I was watching something the other day about athletes at the top of their game and the nutritionist was saying that it is as much about when you eat. She was saying that after a hard workout session you should eat a balanced meal (sorry can't remember the amounts) within 30 minutes if you eat later your body is more likely to store it rather than use it.

Could you take a flask of soup for lunch, soup is your friend...!

Full fat greek yoghurt is great because it is filling and full of protein - but you do have to be a bit more mindful of portion size. But this isn't too hard because it is so creamy and satisfying.

I tend to alternate between full fat and 0% Total yoghurt. I always try to go full fat when it is a major part of a meal - e.g. for breakfast with fruit / nuts. That way I know I'll be full for longer. For a quick snack or as a dollop in a curry or chilli, I'll use 0% if I have it in.
