Thanks, Jackie. Will be in touch on Thurs then. Hope you are all having a good weekend!

JackieNo · 13/04/2007 22:40

And the new thread .

OK - finally the weights - I'm putting just those who aren't going to be 'new start' people:

Eeyoreisfab: -2 (total -20.5)
Littlemisssensible: +1.5 (total -4.5)
Fauve: -4 (total -16)
ForcesSweetheart: +3.75 (total -1.25)

And the 'new start' people, please make a note of your weight yesterday/today and start from there for next week's losses - that's:

suejonez
JackieNo
whoopsfallenoveragain
coppertop
WigWamBam
ChipButty

So this week's undoubted star is Fauve (is it all that running paying off?), and you get a crown too.

Hi ChipButty - welcome back. We've changed, so weigh-in day is now a Thursday.

(Just waiting to sort out new start people, and I'll post a list of weights this evening, or sue can do it if she gets there first)

OP posts:
ChipButty · 13/04/2007 19:51

I'm back! (used to be TitianRed). Please remind me of the weigh in day - can't remember if it's Tuesday or Wednesday. Nice to see some familiar names still around.

coppertop · 13/04/2007 15:02

Thanks for the welcome back.

I weighed myself on Wednesday so will use that as my starting weight and then have next week as week 1 IYSWIM.

JackieNo · 13/04/2007 14:33

Sounds good - thanks for that. Anyone else around?

OP posts:
whoopsfallenoveragain · 13/04/2007 14:03

I'll start with my weight as it is now or I might get depressed with what my weight was when I stopped (Can't even remember what it was )
I get weighed on a Tuesday morning so will go with that weight if that's ok

JackieNo · 13/04/2007 13:56

OK people - I'm working out the list of weights - how do the 'new start' people want to play it? Are we taking this as week zero, ie, taking our current weights as our new starting weight and counting from there in future, or am I keeping the running total from the past going? I'm counting 'new start' people as me, WWB, Sue, coppertop and whoopsfallenoveragain - have I missed anyone? Let me know what you want to do. I've also got weights from eeyoreisfab, littlemisssensible, Fauve (who looks like she's going to get this week's crown) and ForcesSweetheart.

WigWamBam · 13/04/2007 12:23

New starts all around ... I'm glad I'm not the only one

Lovely to see you here again, CT.

JackieNo · 13/04/2007 09:27

Hi coppertop. I think maybe there are a whole load of us who have, um, lapsed a bit, so go for it - lovely to see you back.

OP posts:
coppertop · 12/04/2007 23:31

Is there something in the air? I wanted to ask if it was okay to sneak back in and join you all again, and I see I'm not the only one. I haven't put all of the weight I lost back on (well not quite anyway ) but would like to start again if possible?

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 20:45

Jackie I was pleased with it I only set out to do 30! may reach a mile next time!

JackieNo · 12/04/2007 20:17

Yes - you're absolutely right Sue - I definitely need a kick up the backside to make me make a fresh start .

Welcome back, whoopsfallenoveragain. I'm seriously impressed with your 50 lengths.

OP posts:
ForcesSweetheart · 12/04/2007 20:15

Folks I am so sorry, I'm so awful at keeping up with all the posts at the moment!

Huge congrats Agalch, I wish you a long and happy life together.

Weighed in this morning and have regained 3.75lb, prety bad but after a week of Glasgow fry-ups and easter eggs I guess it coulda been a lot worse.

DH is on leave at the mo before he deploys to the sand-pit, so not getting online as frequently as I once did, will be a more regular poster once he's off doing his thing.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 19:33

Phew that's ok then!
although my colleagues were envious of my wonderful salad I took in!

suejonez · 12/04/2007 19:32

it ws really horrid - you wouldn;t have liked it.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 19:32

Thanks Sue
Did you have to mention bacon sarnies? I'm drooling now. no I did enjoy my salad for lunch & ww curry for tea

suejonez · 12/04/2007 19:27

You can join WWB and I as the "starters again" - though frankly jackieNo I think you should be in that group too [stern emoticon]

Its spring the new year really starts now and it should be easier to get out and about and get walking a bit more.

I ate my last bacon roll this morning (promise) and will get a bit more organised about haveing low cal sweet things for me to eat when I go shopping this weekend. Thats my new start.

whoopsfallenoveragain · 12/04/2007 19:06

Hi everyone
can I come back and join you? I rejoined WW on Tuesday and 2 days in I'm still sticking to it! I even swam 50 lengths last night too!
I'm determined to shed the weight now

JackieNo · 12/04/2007 15:16

I did.

By the way, have weighed, and, in a stunning change to the last umpteen weeks (more or less) have ... stayed the same.

I'm happy to do the weights this week, or is it Sue's turn (we've been sharing, how sweet). Anyway - one of us will do them.

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 12/04/2007 15:03

Ah ... you spotted the fatal flaw in my logic then

JackieNo · 12/04/2007 13:22

I think you're forgetting the regular visits to Starbucks there, WWB. But you're right - you can't eat at the same time, but there are more snacks around for the snaffling, if (when) my willpower weakens.

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 12/04/2007 13:16

Of course shopping counts, Jackie Plus you can't eat while you're shopping so double whammy

I know how you feel, LMS; I have a bonded filling on one of my front teeth which falls out with alarming regularity, and I feel awful when it does. I hope you can get it sorted quickly.

littlemisssensible · 12/04/2007 13:08

WWB, Lots of good supportive vibes for you and Sue coming from here! On wards and upwards I say...or maybe that should be downwards in our cases

No emergency number as such but I could go up to the local A&E dental Dept. It doesn't hurt though (nerve removed many moons ago) so it's only my vanity which requires it's immediete replacement I'm not sure that counts as an emergency!
