I read a book about weight loss once that suggested you give the part of you that tries to sabotage your weight loss a name you really hate.
You know, that voice that says "Oh go on...eat the cake, we'll start the diet tomorrow" or "One pizza won't hurt, we've earned it".
I called mine Belinda. And then when I started self-sabotaging would tell 'Belinda' silently so not to attract stares to shut up and stop trying to trick me and to get back in her box.
(Sorry anyone called Belinda).
Have you come across any psychological tips or tricks that have helped with weight loss? I'm really needing them at the moment!
