I don't possess any scales, but my jeans feel a leetle bit looser.

2lbs since Friday is amazing! I lost a pound this week. Pleased because I've done so little exercise with being ill. Working tomorrow (drat) but will get down the gym on Friday.

Franke, I've got a skirt which was really tight on me when I first started dieting and am going to keep it because it's so great to see how slack it is on me now. Great incentive to keep going.

Forgive me for I have sinned...

Had a crap day at work yesterday, fell out with 13yo dd when I got home (what's new) and drowned my sorrows in 2 and a half cans of lager last night. Would have been a lot more and something a lot stronger had there been any in the house.

No alcohol for me this weekend. Crap.

MrsSpoon · 05/03/2007 23:27

Yes, can I join! I think I need to be battered by a Cod! Please???

I started WW points a couple of weeks back and was doing quite well but have managed to put it all back on again.

Going on holiday at the end of the month and wouldn't mind shifting a few lbs by then.

Please tell me to stop eating and drinking fattening stuff!!!!

nally · 05/03/2007 23:32

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME? When dd2 arrived I lost most of the weight pretty fast, but still have half a stone to go and need some encouragement.......

MrsSpoon · 06/03/2007 10:00

OK, ashamed to admit this but 11st 9lbs this morning (although I am 5' 8" so just within my acceptable weight), had porridge and green tea this morning.

myturn · 06/03/2007 23:25

Didn't know you had joined WW MrsSpoon??

MrsSpoon · 06/03/2007 23:32

Hello Myturn. I joined WW a year or two back just to get hold of the books as I had got a bit stuck with my weight loss, found it really good but struggling to get back into the mindset.

I've been quite good today but haven't been counting points, have eaten loads so probably way over but it has been mostly healthy stuff.

myturn · 06/03/2007 23:54

Shame you don't live just a bit closer - we could have gone together. You should be ok though if what you have been eating has been healthy. Getting weighed tomorrow - been good this week and been exercising a lot. Aiming to be at goal for holiday in May (France - booked it now! Can't wait)

MrsSpoon · 06/03/2007 23:58

All the best for tomorrow Myturn! TBH even if we did live closer I probably wouldn't go to the classes, too much money, too much time, would rather go to another exercise class.

France sounds fab! Are you all going or just you and DH? We are off to Spain at the end of this month and I wouldn't mind dropping a half stone by then, I don't really want to lose much more than that anyway, 10lbs would do me fine, think that's half the problem, if it was more weight I would probably be more motivated.

myturn · 07/03/2007 09:21

You should be able to lose half stone by the end of the month. Book into that extra exercise class! MM that I work with is looking for someone to go to a class or the gym with... she was going to come all the way through to me on a Sunday and it seems a shame as there are probably loads of good classes in your town.

Not sure how tonight is going to go but will keep you posted. Weighed myself this morning (yeah naughty I know...) and appear to have put on a pound. Got a sore stomach today so probably due to that. Ah well, running this afternoon in an attempt to lose a bit before weigh in lol...

We are all off to France in May. For 2 and a half weeks too!!! So looking forward to it. Before then dh and I are going to Cologne for four days in mid April. Becoming the jet set couple hehe.

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 15:56

Wow, you are the jet setters!

I don't regularly go to any evening exercise classes anymore, the one I was going to got messed about because of changes at the leisure centre, all my classes that I attend are during the day at the moment, MM is full-time isn't she? I could certainly recommend a few local evening exercise classes to her if she is interested. Thinking of going to RPM tonight as a bit of an extra but not sure how that is going to work as DH has his personal trainer coming to put him through his paces and my dishwasher is on the blink and the repair man is coming back this evening so might have to wait in.

myturn · 07/03/2007 22:18

Oooh personal trainer - lucky dh! How come you don't have one then?

Yeah MM is full time.

Lost another pound by the way That's 11 1/2 now... pleased.

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 23:01

Well done Myturn, that run must have done the trick!

I am still happy to recommend some classes to MM, I have been to a few of the evening ones over the last few years.

Managed to get to the RPM tonight, dishwasher man arrived early.

DH's personal trainer is a slight bone of contention (not so much him having the trainer more him not doing the training ). Basically we both had membership at the local leisure centre and went to classes, it was quite nice, used to go to a couple together. DH had a couple of problems, that old sporting injury playing up etc and finally ditched his membership, did nothing for over a year as a Dr who looked at his knee told him not to exercise, that Dr was a total numpty as the one who eventually saw him for a scan of the knee etc said he should never had given up exercising. DH then invested in some gym equipment and hired a personal trainer, supposidly only to get him on track. To cut a long story short if she is not there shouting at him he doesn't work out and at £20 an hour she isn't here often enough! I on the other hand have bags of motivation and don't need a personal trainer! Just a shame the same doesn't apply to what I eat!

myturn · 07/03/2007 23:23

Lol So the personal trainer is a SHE eh? Hmm, how much more motivation does he need?

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 23:31

She nags at him too! Makes it all worth while, that someone is keeping up with the intense nagging programme that I am subjecting him to in my absence.

myturn · 07/03/2007 23:32

Then she's worth every penny...

Do you remember Cremolafoam by any chance??

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 23:35

Yes I remember Cremolafoam with great fondness. Why? Is it recommended by WW?

myturn · 07/03/2007 23:36

ROFL!! Nooo, was just reminded of it on the 'I'm so old' thread...

Reminded me of when it used to be so hot in the summer that the tar on the pavement would melt... we used to drink it in the summer.

myturn · 07/03/2007 23:37

Err Cremolafoam, not the tar... lol

MrsSpoon · 07/03/2007 23:37

LOL, yes I remember melting tar too. I loved Cremolafoam. Wonder if they still make it?
