I'm doing really badly I think Was feeling as though I was managing but haven't been able to stop picking today (have tried to keep it as fruit snacks but it hasn't always been) and am making a big supper for me and dh who has come in from working starving. AF due any day so hunger at this time is always a problem for me. Have walked ds to pre-school (2 miles there and back) this week and been on my bike once.

Well,I did the DVD this morning (without friend who had something else come up). Am hoping to do it more often now.It is good and i survived it! Legs a bit achey though.

Ive been a little better food wise today. Always worse in the evenings but there is very little food left in the house!

Well done tort the dvd is good isn't it - but I remember I couldn't walk upstiars the next day and even sitting down hurt - but it goes so good luck!

Don't fret, Shouldbe, it'll get better! You've done lots of walking and cycling this week which can only be a good thing. I don't know if it's any help, but I find if I can just stay out of the kitchen I can manage not to snack so much. And I sew, because I won't let myself eat and sew at the same time. Mind, yesterday I was so hungry when we came in from school that I had four crumpets and a blueberry muffin before I even got the kettle on. I know, why did I have them in the house? I was reduced to having a small portion of dinner in a little dish so it looked more.

I have just had a really healthy snack! Am very proud of myself. I don't think it's a particularly new idea but it was nice - I mashed a small banana with some cinnemon and a little grated nutmeg and spread it on two low fat, unflavoured rice crackers. Feel like I've had something more fattening than it was. (insert proud face here) Usually at this time of the evening I'm stuffing my face with toast and butter or biscuits so it's gotta be better than that.

I've recruited a friend to lose weight with me. We have a challenge to lose 7lbs by Valentine's day. She's getting married in september and is more than up for shedding a few pounds!

My legs still hurt!
But all being well tomorrow morning sometime i will do the DVD again.

af came today so that could explain the pigging food(more than norm anyway!). Now i'm the opposite and don't feel hungry at all!
(Ive got a coil so don't get much loss and don't have a period at all most of the time.So i never know when im due on.)

I am drinking loads of water though.

had a crappy day - well a crappy week really. I have been going on aout it on other threads but dd started school and this week was her first full week and she cried everyday . Am finding it really hard to sit at home knowing she is up the road upset. My son says he saw he standing in the playground sucking her glove and crying.

So I have not tried at all this week as felt really sorry for myself.

Anyway weight this morning was up 1lb to 11.11

wish my AF would arrive tort- I'm so hungry and am sure it's cos I'm due any day - bit unpredictable unfortunatly. Hope to have managed some weight loss but doubt it at the moment. Once AF arrives I'll be much better on the food front and usually have more energy after a day or two Well done keeping up the dvd - hope your legs soon start to get used to the hard work

I still haven't ordered my scales - it's on my list for tomorrow - honest!

I was going to go for the quick kiss and goodbye approach not to prolong it and then teacher asked if I could stay until she was settled as they have one teacher and one TA for 30 children and if they have to do one to one with someone who is upset it makes it very difficult.

Anyway side tracking - sorry.

DH bought me a galaxy ripple as I had been moping all day so but also

Well,i did the DVD again today. Legs were ok and are ok at the moment! Wonder how they will be in the morning.

Possibly getting a gym ball tomorrow in Argos and some hand weights.Much easier to use them than baked bean cans i think!

Still not being great with food. Now there is bugger all in the house i will be ok!! Until i do some shopping that is.

well done tort - you're doing really well. I, on the other hand, am awful. Went to the supermarket today and bought good healthy stuff but also couldn't resist some chocs at the checkout I feel awful and fat and depressed today.
Just going out with the kids on a bike ride though so that'll do some good - even if we will be going at childs pace cos dd is taking her own bike.
DT hope tomorrow morning is better for you at school x

Oh tort don't be mean to yourself - you have done so well with your video and this time of year is horrid for dieting, I am really impressed - hope the legs are alright tomorrow - what did you think of Davina? I have the three 30 min workouts as well which are good if you are short of time and don't want to do the full monty.

shouldbe hope you got out in the fresh air - I did today and felt so much better.

Have eaten badly - lunch in IKEA had soup then most of dd's chips hoping the lack of sleep will burn off a few more cals.

Wish me luck for dd at school tomorrow.

Mine is power of 3 which has 3 workouts but i always feel i should do it all!
I don't think it has enough tums work really.
Hoping gym ball will be good for sit-up type things!

Thanks DT, I did get out for a ride with the kids and it was fun and I do feel a lot better. Just fed up I guess...just one of those days
