I've not been too bad this week (apart from McD's on Sunday -oops) but I just don't feel any thinner. Keep looking in the mirror and I still want to go "bleuuurgh!" It's just so SLOW!

And on Friday, I'm going out for a curry and at half term we're going down to the in-laws for the week (fry-ups every morning, home made cakes, huge dinners every evening). So I'm kind of in that "what's the point, I'm going to put it all back on anyway" frame of mind

Help! Why are we all so gloomy about it atm?

I want list of people who are committed to trying extra hard next week - let me know if you are in!!

We will a) Cut down even further to get us back into it
b) Fit a small amount of excercise into the day EVERY DAY

Hi again - I have lapsed too, just can't seem to stop eating stodge at the moment and couldn't go to Rosemary last week. Maybe it's the weather?! Can't stop yawning either! My clothes are getting a little bit tighter and I'm really depressed about it and then I comfort eat. Looking on the bright side though I didn't finish DS2's breakfast this morning (and wanted to!) as am trying to be full of new resolve this morning. I just wish someone would wave a magic wand and I would be slim again with no effort - it's not going to happen though is it?!! I'll have to do it myself so count me in for trying hard again. Good luck everyone. Lxx

Marthamoo - just do your best - have a small slice, small portion of fry up, have cereal instead a few days etc etc every little helps!

I've just had loads of emails from slim mamas - have been trying to put the MN name to the real name and not having much luck! Sent one back to becca but may have sent it to all of you (if I just do "reply" does it send to everyone in the club?)

Thanks for recipes, btw (not sure how slimming pine nuts and chorizo sausage are though )

I am still on for losing weight. I have done 9 lbs so far since this started and keen to lose at least a stone more.

I am happy that I am sticking to my points weekly, although need to be a bit stricter at weekends. Not this weekend hough as I have a ball Friday night with 5 course meal. Ooops!

Exercise is forced on me anyway. The lift is out of action now for the next 12 weeks so I have over 125 steps to walk down, and then up, at least a double journey each day.

Marthamoo, exercise caution about the optional extras with the rice, I think it is just the basic recipe that is low fat (and the substitutions that are veg etc) and I suppose you could substitute the oil for some of that spray stuff if you are really keen. -

Half bag of crisps, two slices of apple bread, one cup of coffee. It's bad.....but, I am now going to do my belly dancing tape which I have not done for SIX months...You can all now imagine me girating (sp?) around the floor doing my exercises. I am on my afternoon break.
