I got it too; forwarded it to Becca before reading on here.

Demented · 22/01/2004 20:44

I have mailed you now Becca, hectic couple of days plus I am down with a flu type thing and have been in my bed. Is that enough excuses . Hope everyone has done well!

Demented · 22/01/2004 20:53

Arrgh! Have I emailed everyone too, I have had someone's out of office reply (they are on maternity leave), all I did was click the reply button on the weigh-in reminder mail. If anyone has read my weight (I am very secretive about it) can you please just forget what I said! The very few people who do know what I weigh say I don't look it, honest!

Demented · 22/01/2004 20:54

No results yet? I need to get back to my bed, the tension is killing me!

Well done everyone, what will the forfeit be for Lisa78?

Hulababy · 22/01/2004 21:04

You don't look it from here Demented

Actually didn't read it all; just read the Hi Becca and realised so just forwarded it on instead.

applepie · 22/01/2004 22:15

Well done everyone - I'm finding it harder now the initial 'easy' first stage has passed (have never done this dieting thing before). Shame we can't use a joker card to double the loss for a week or magically apply everyone's total amount lost to the week's winner as a prize (am starting to sound delirious missing my fave fatty foods here I think)

Hulababy · 22/01/2004 22:18

Feel the same applepie; was really disappointed with 1lb but I guess it hasto slow down after a while once your body adjusts.

Only have 2 weeks until the ball now.

Demented · 22/01/2004 22:39

LOL Hulababy, you don't look too bad yourself!

Applepie, this is my second time losing weight, I lost about 2 stone after having DS1 and appear to have managed to put it all back on again with DS2. The slow weight loss is what you want, you cannot sustain the high weight loss, initially you lose alot of fluid which is stored in your body and is something to do with eating the wrong foods (I think?), if you were to burn fat at the same rate you would be starving, it is more likely to stay off and you're more likely to stick to it if you do it slowly, until you have another baby (in my case anyway).

applepie · 22/01/2004 22:59

Hulababy, Demented - you?re both right of course, I was just getting a little carried away with my diet fantasies there. I?m still aiming to lose a stone by March 22 and I have more of an incentive now as I have just booked a weekend to Budapest which is apparently full of spas, so would not like to scare the natives if it?s the custom to go naked (bad enough with a cossie on) - more of a stick than a carrot, but hey, if it works?

codswallop · 23/01/2004 07:44

six stone? wow, thats like two ds ones
