ProfYaffle, i know what you mean about the rebellion thing. For ages i just wanted to do what i wanted and eat what i wanted but sadly i just bloody cant and its crap. Have joined ww online today - committed for 3 months so fingers crossed it works.

Lady - I have got Paul McKenna (what weight loss system haven't I got?!) but I'm a bit about hypnosis. However, iirc, he says v similar things to Susie Orbach so I may dig her book out to re-read.

It's such a huge effort to keep this stuff at the forefront of your mind!

Hope everyone had a good new year, quite glad it's all over really. Going to throw out all remaining junk now as otherwise I will eat it all as not to waste it! Talk about kidding myself! Went on scales last night, heavier than I thought 12 stone 10. Very depressing.

I am joining a running group, although I will only be in walking section to begin with. I have seen lots about shred on here, has qnyone tried it? Is it any good?

Right, just weighed meself and I weigh 14 stone and 7 pounds

which means I want to initially lose 2 stone and 7 pounds and then reassess my body there - with possibly another 7 to 14lbs to lose

I am curvy and love being curvy so don't want to become thin, thin.

So of I go - soup for lunch today (made minestrone) lets see how it goes
