Got a question for anyone posting on this thread.
Don't let it put you off if you are doing Rosemary Conley because I have found it the best way to get fit.
I have really enjoyed the Rosemary Conley classes and have got a real love for exercise now, which is fab, and which I was really keen to get out of the classes but I am afraid my eating problems are not great.
Loads of times I have lost weight and put it back on!
My sis thinks I have problems with food, and I agree.
It is weird because I am very happy now and very fortunate to have a great hubby and lovely daughter, and a job I like, my Christian faith is very important to me, my family are close by and I am fit(ish) and well. But as a kid I was very shy and I've had anxiety in the past, and a touch of OCD! So maybe, just maybe I am eating for comfort, for acceptance, I am not sure for what!
Anyway, I am going to try and get a book from the library, anyone heard of it these books:
Eating the Moment: 141 Mindful Practices to Overcome Overeating One Meal at a Time by Pavel Georgievich Somov?
Or Overcoming Overeating: It's Not What You Eat, It's What's Eating You! by Lisa Morrone?
Or Overcoming Overeating: How to Break the Diet/Binge Cycle and Live a Healthier, More Satisfying Life by Jane R. Hirschmann and Carol H. Munter?
Or, finally, The Food and Feelings Workbook: A Full Course Meal on Emotional Health by Karen R. Koenig?
Has anyone heard of any of the authors?
Which one is better?
Can anyone recommend a good book on emotional or comfort eating, please?
