Wegovy Tablets - New Starters October 2026

Hi all.

Wondering if anyone is interested in joining a new thread for October starters, specifically for the tablet/pill. I have had a quick search and can’t seem to find one.

I have previously been on Mounjaro which I found incredible, I switched briefly to Wegovy Jabs but I stopped due to personal reasons. Looking forward to getting back on track. I’ve ordered the tablets and they’re being delivered tomorrow.

I am slightly concerned about the fasting element. I tend to take a pint glass of juice to bed so I will need to switch to water and equally I’m usually straight to the kettle in the morning for my cuppa while the kids eat breakfast!

Day 4 - can't decide if I've got any side effects or if I'm imagining them. Loads of intrusive thoughts in the wee small hours - but to be fair that's not new just another delightful symptom of menopause. Definitely not as interested in snacking as I was so hopeful it will work.

What are you all doing about drinking water when you wake during the night?
After googling I got the impression it wasn't ok as it would break the fast, but my provider Bolt has just told me that it's fine 🤔

I never really drink in the night but I'd imagine it's fine. Probably wise to leave a bit of time before taking your pill though, maybe a couple of hours or more.

Have any of you had any reaction drinking alcohol? I went for drinks after work last night - I had just 2 glasses of red wine and a couple of hours later felt a bit sick. Didn’t feel great this morning either. Before the tablets 2 glasses would have had no effect

Voy have told me that water through the night was fine. Was disappointed to find that a peppermint tea - which is just hot water and mint leaves - wasn’t.
