We have all been on this journey for just over 2yrs

we gathered our courage and started what would be a memorable journey for us all

made some hopefully forever friends

Gather round my little auggies 😍 and we are all doing amazingly so be proud of yourselves

The amount of weight per person lost varies from 1-2stone - 3-4 - 5-6 - 7+ in a year

We are amazing !!!

All of us have totally changed our body shape - reduced our bmi and weight and hopefully improved our health

most of us are at goal - and working out how to maintain

some nearing it

And some still have weight they want to lose

We are still here cheering you on till you get to your happy weight so please do carry on posting

Some have stopped for cost - esp after the aug announcements - still so thankful we started it when we did
Imagine Aug 25 and being told 2/3w later prices were increasing lots

I def couldn’t have managed a year of mj at new sept prices esp as doses didn’t really effect me even 15 !

But a year on , prices are starting to drop again and 2.5 can be £99 and 10 £200

ALL of us have lost weight and I love the fact we are all so supportive to each other over weight and our general day to day lives

We have found this second year those who got to goal that it’s harder to maintain

We have to keep our eye on the ball aka the scales

It’s a forever thing

To keep the weight off

Esp if reducing dose or off completely - and we are finding it def harder to keep weight off with lower doses

only 2 words to say 😂😂

I know I’m hard on myself but I worry I will get back to being a fat mum and unhealthy for dd and I’m all she has

plus spent a fortune on clothes 😂

but I swore 20yrs ago I wouldn’t gain the 4s I lost and be overweight again - but I did and gained another 2 on top

a few lbs becomes half a stone then a stone and before I know it I’ve gained half the weight I lost

I can’t be large again

I’m not a huge lover of chickpeas tho love homous

I think I used to say I never had food noise but it came back with revenge when I dropped to 2.5

I so wish I stayed at 5 - like a year ago

Morning. I don't think you are being hard on yourself @Blondeshavemorefun you are being very sensible and realistic. I seem to remember you did have food noise when you were on lower doses and wondered how people managed on low doses? (Me too!)
Evening snacking is probably habit and boredom. I end up having a few ryvitas with a scrape of something plus an options hot chocolate fake Aldi one; yes I know that's exciting 😅😅 Also more or less cut out alcohol apart from very occaisional treat. I went out for a tapas on Wednesday and had one large glass of wine. This made me SO hungry that am going to try not to drink until I lose my annoying extra 5 pounds. I won't stick to no alcohol when in holiday though 😅😅😅

Booze doesn’t all appeal to me

Ordered from MMP on 8th and arrived at 11 am on 10th 👍

PoemsForTea · 10/10/2026 13:55

I meant 'being hard on yourself' as Blondes says she has no will power. She has lost 7 stone and is maintaining beautifully? Wtf - I'd say thats pretty impressive, but she talks about herself in such a negative way.
I wasnt being challenging and apologise if it came across that way, just trying to help with possible easy tweaks of food 🤷

owlyboo · 10/10/2026 18:54

@Blondeshavemorefunits definitely easy to let the few pounds creep up. (Hence how I gained two stone!) thankfully nearly gone now but still wish I hadn’t let it creep up! So it’s definitely better to keep an eye on it I agree!

I’ve just ordered two more pens of 15mg (cheaper in a bundle) hoping those two pens will help me lose the last 4lbs (+ hopefully a couple more for a buffer zone) then I’ll think about going down to a lower dose to maintain.

I’ve had a VERY lazy day today. Need to up my walking again.

Bless you. It’s easy to maintain while on still

I just can’t shift back to 10.4. Maybe it’s my body saying this is my happy weight but I don’t went to be 10.7

yes I know I was happy reaching 11 but that’s my prerogative to be two faced 😂😂

It’s interesting to think whether monj will help us defeat that set point theory if we are on it long enough. That are happy weight, the weight our body sticks at will have moved lower.

my lowest is 8st2 and I often get back down to tnst or hover at 8st4, but I’ve only ever briefly seen 8st and never below.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/10/2026 20:58

Will be interesting if you can stay 8.4 on 5 @FurForksSake

Eugh I’ve been so rough last few days. Obviously picked up some sort of bug been pretty much in bed (apart from getting up to feed kids etc) since Saturday. Just got woken up early by the dog and seem to feel slightly better today but we shall see. I really hope so!

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/10/2026 10:10

Sorry to hear poorly @owlyboo. Hope feel better soon

Thanks @Blondeshavemorefunfeeling a lot better today, not 100% but getting there!

Azuresky68 · 14/10/2026 08:24

How's everyone doing? Get well soon @owlyboo I took an extra 2.5 from pen and 12.5 working. Got 4 weeks to lose a couple of pounds then a little trip to Cyprus!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/10/2026 15:59

12.5 isn’t doing much for me. I eat. I have the voice saying eat me

I’m not gaining weight but I’m def not losing it

I know what you mean! How do people lose/maintain on low doses? That would be so much more affordable 😱

I weighed myself this morning. 8st1. So I’ve lost weight. I’m not tracking calories so perhaps I need to start in case my weight dips further. I do wonder if I’ll be able to maintain on 5 or 2.5, that feels like a dream. I’m on 10 right now and have a couple of those to work through before I hit the 7.5, I think I’ll order one more 7.5 next and then a 5.

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/10/2026 11:51

Well done. I did so well till got to 5 then 2.5 and all went wrong

I can maintain. I just can’t seem to get the last 3 lbs off

Azuresky68 · 15/10/2026 18:16

@FurForksSake great news and well done. I am 8 stone 12. That's 7 pounds more than I was in January. My original goal was 9 stone. I will be happy if I can lose 5 pounds and stay at 8 stone 7. Still a struggle on 10 and I would have to be on 1000 cals to lose, which I don't think is a good idea after my surgery. My blood levels are all perfect now after surgery so it's been a sucess and my back ablation seems to have worked too. Staying on 10 is very hard financially. I am lucky to have a generous partner when it comes to going on holiday but otherwise I am totally independent and very good with money. I could really do with reducing my dose but not an option until I get rid of those 5 pounds. I have barely been drinking either for last few months..an average of 1 drink a week in September and October so far.

Azuresky68 · 16/10/2026 08:29

Good morning. Feeling frustrated as I just did my Friday weigh in and have STS at 8 st 12. That's after jabbing 12.5 on Monday too. So I am on 12.5 to maintain, cut out alcohol, on 1250 calories, with a stubborn 5 pounds that won't go. Those pounds crept on in January to June, so on average a pound a month. I remember going up to 15 to lose the same pounds when getting to goal. Just can't do that again and I don't feel great on 12.5. I can't afford to stay on 12.5. My hope was always to maintain on 5. A bit despondent but then I have to remember my life long battle with weight and how good it feels to be under 9 stone. I haven't been there since my twenties and I am 70 now, wearing size 8/10 at last.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/10/2026 09:11

I thought you got back to 8/7 and was happy there @Azuresky68

bur yes rem you see size 8/10 you skinny mini !!

im a 12. The odd 10 in a top /dress

its £12 more for the 12.5

12.6 isn’t doing anything. For me either - I’m still 10.7 ffs

Unfortunately not managed to get back to 8 st 7 pounds 😢 Don't forget I am barely 5 foot so 8/10 is about right.

owlyboo · 20/10/2026 15:30

Sorry you stayed the same @Azuresky68so frustrating when you want to lose a few. Least you’re on it!

I’ve been taking 15 for last couple of months and if I’m honest it’s a bit to strong but I’m sure it’s effects will begin to be less soon. I already have two in the fridge so stuck with them! I don’t feel to bad just sometimes forgetting to eat to having to quickly eat something.

anyway just weighed in and lost another 2lbs to 2lbs to go to target although would like to lose a few more.

Blondeshavemorefun · Yesterday 09:44

Well done on losing. I’m still sts at 10/7 - driving me nuts
