Is it OK to just stop Mounjaro?

I’m recently been on highest dose of 15mg. But have had pain and swelling in joints, not sure if it’s related to Mounjaro or not but have GP appointment next week - by then I will have not had jab for just over two weeks - (has been about ten days since last jab). Is it ok to just stop it? I am worried about the pain coming back?

Yes you can just stop, hunger will come back.

mounjaro is proven to reduce inflammation, so pain would likely be linked to something else.

i don’t understand what you mean, you’re stopping due to pain in joints, but worried bout the pain coming back if you stop? It doesn’t make sense, can you explain?

I was worried the joint pain and inflammation was possible caused by the Mounjaro though I couldn’t find it in the list of potential side effects.

How old are you? Can joint pain be due to menopause. Anyway can stop for a few weeks and see if that helps

It won't hurt to just stop, but if you decide to go back on you will have to start at 2.5 again and move up.
I can't see how it can be connected if you're on 15mg though - that means you've been on it quite a long time even if you've only recently moved up to 15mg.
I would tend to stay on it myself, and wait to see the GP
