Starting Mounjaro and worried about side effects while working and driving

About to start mounjaro
Am really worried about side effects especially vomiting and diarrhoea.
i work in a patient facing role in the NHS
I also drive 90 minutes each way to work .
How long do side effects last ? I was planning on taking the first injection when I have a 3 day break from work . Can someone reassure me that I won’t spend my entire time in the bathroom

Taking your first dose during a few days away from work sounds sensible, simply so you can see how your body reacts without having to worry about a long commute. Everyone seems to respond differently, so I wouldn’t assume you’ll definitely have severe sickness or diarrhoea, but I’d make sure your prescriber knows about your driving and work routine
