Has anyone restarted weight loss injections after a year in maintenance?

I'm interested to see if anyone has decided to re-start WLI after a year in maintenance?
I commenced Saxenda in May 2023, and reached my target of a healthy bmi (25) in March 2025. I lost 7.5st in total.
Since March, I have generally maintained - gained 3lb over Christmas, lost it again through Jan/Feb/early March. But now I've got a 3lb gain again from late March/April (because I tried to eat in a slight calorie surplus to gain muscle - with no effect despite 120-140g protein per day and progressive overload!). Yes, I know I can lose it again, but my God it was hard losing it earlier this year and I just don't want to put myself through this cycle endlessly. Particulalry knowing that there will be gains around holidays and Christmas.
I calorie count every single day. I excercise by weight lifting and running plus walking (and have been for over 2 years). If I didn't exercise my calories to maintain are 1400. Because I do, I can maintain around 1800. To cut, I've only been able to cut to 1600 this time, because I will fall off the wagon if I go lower. That's why it took me 3 months to lose 3lb - a 200 cal deficit per day is painfully slow weight loss!
So, today I decided to re-order and make it much easier to manage this weight loss phase.
My God, it is exhausting, but I'm totally committed to keeping this weight off. Anyone else decided to recommence after this long off?

I don’t really understand you’re building muscle so would, likely see a small gain and the rest is fluid, most go up and down 2lbs naturally. Do you think maybe you’ve become over focused on it?

It isn't muscle, I've been tracking my muscle since going to the gym, and this is just body fat gain. My measurements suggest the same too.

So my target weigh was 9st 11, and I got to 9st 8 which gave me some wiggle room. I'm now 3lb above my target weight with daily tracking to know my average and take in to account water/food/hormones etc.
It's definitely body fat gain.

I don't understand why you need to go back on them to lose 3lb/maintain when you've been maintaining successfully for a year? I get that it's exhausting and if you just want to rest from the constant vigilance I do understand that (I'm not ready to come off, or even titrate down very low to maintain) but you've been doing it so the extra expense seems disproportionate?

Have you eaten 3 pounds worth of additional calories, above your tdee, to actually gain 3 pounds of fat? Seems extreme to go back on for 3 pounds when you are weight training. Body composition scales often aren't very accurate and it seems like you are doing right things

The only way to accurately track muscle vs fat is a DEXA scanner or water displacement
