Has anyone used weight loss injections short term and stopped?

Hello, I’ve just started an injection this week. 2.5mg so far so good, some mild common symptoms and some good appetite suppression.
I have around 3 stone to lose and was hoping to use MJ as a kickstarter rather than stay on it too long. Has anyone done it for 3 months and just stopped? What was the result? And did you have to wean off it? I’ve lost weight before and maintained a healthy lifestyle, which is what I want to do now, and hopefully (though appreciate I might be being naive!) use MJ for a couple of months to get into good habits.

I had about the same to lose and started with the same intention not really understanding how mj works.
The weight duly dropped off very quickly, and I spent time looking into why, as I'd dieted before and it was a struggle.
So I started to realise it's waaay more than calories in calories out clap trap, but more hormones influencing how the weight goes off, and how your brain tells you you're hungry. Once that's balanced with the mj, it's doable to lose and crucially maintain your weight, suffice to say, coming off has not been an option, the weight comes back with a vengeance, and that's been the experience of my group that started over a year ago, not one of them has come off successfully, most are maintaining with micro dosing.

I think it depends on why you became overweight in the first place. I took it for 4 months and lost 2.5 stone. Since I stopped in December, I have lost another stone. I used the time I was on it to really address my disordered eating and exercise situation. I worked really hard while I was on it and it was not as simple as getting into good habits, I had to address years of using food as a reward or to make myself feel better and exercise as some form of punishment. I'm very happy that it gave me the headspace to work on my issues and help me to break the cycle. And, I am hopeful that this will long continue.

I am only doing 2 months and only on 2.5 of MJ. It might even be only having a placebo effect, who knows. But I have used this time to teach myself that ‘feeling hungry’ is not the urgent matter I thought it was. I will survive.

I’ve lost a stone and have another stone to go. I have one more jab and then I’m on my own. I absolutely know it won’t be easy but I also know I can do it in a way I didn’t know 7 weeks ago.

How do they keep getting the medication once they are not overweight? I think I’ll need to stay on it for life too

@Seriestwo ,you sign up to a pharmacy that supports maintaining, have a look at the monj.com site it shows pharmacies that will support you, depending on each individual pharmacy as to how low a bmi they will let you go.
Some will make their own arrangements though, including me, but that's not really for discussion on here.
