Welcome to our 4th thread of continuing all the good work we’ve done, believing in ourselves and recognising all we’ve already achieved.

No- I will stay on until I hit target & then will consider but I’m only on 3.75 mj anyway so not got much leeway to reduce! I will read through the posts because I’m interested in experiences of coming off cold turkey v dropping down v micro dosing longer term.. I know everyone is different of course. But specifically, if you get down to say BMI 24 & stop ordering.. then struggle, is there a supplier who will prescribe a low dose for maintenance at that stage if you can prove you’ve been on the medication in months subsequent?

I’ve just done this after 10 months without an order. I have a 2.5mg pen from pharmulous on its way. My previous orders were with Oushk.

Azuresky68 · 17/04/2026 07:19

Moved my jab back to Fridays by jabbing every 8 days. Just stuck around 8st 8 and 8 st 9. My preferred weight was 8 st 5 but not been that since before Christmas, however I maintained that for nearly 6 months on 10. Not restricting my calories to 1000 a day at the moment due to fatigue from medical issues. On 1250/1350 a day so can only expect to maintain/lose very very slowly.

MargoLivebetter · 17/04/2026 09:02

@Azuresky68 maintaining at 3-4lb over your preferred weight is pretty good going! I'm really sorry to hear that you are suffering healthwise at the moment. I hope you can rest and feel better soon.

Many thanks 😊 but after my next holiday i really want to reduce down from 10! Also waiting for surgery, so hoping that will help with tiredness as it's one of symptoms. It might also be causing inflammation.

Weigh in day for me today and I’ve somehow managed to stay the same which I’m really happy with. Just had a look back at my statistics and this is week 15 of maintenance for me and I’ve stayed within my target range for all of that time, despite my struggles with bingeing and eating junk. I’ve managed to keep it under some sort of control and not let it take over or lead to any weight gain so I’m feeling pretty good about that. Here’s hoping for a binge-free week! 🤞

That's great news. You will have probably mentioned this before...are you maintining with or without MJ. I have managed to maintain since last August apart from January/Feb when 2 holiidays led to slow 7 pound gain over 3 months. That was 7 pounds over my lowest maintainenence weight. Now I am 3 pounds over my lowest maintenance weight (23 BMI)
BUT I am still on 10 mg after trying 7.5 where the gain happened. After my next holiday I am going to try 7.5 again. I think i will need to stay on MJ for life (I am 70 this year) as I have always battled with my weight.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 19/04/2026 15:08

Yes I’m still on MJ and think I always will be - currently taking 5mg every 2 weeks but hoping to reduce to 2.5 at some point (though I’m well aware this might increase the temptation to binge in which case I’m happy to go back to 5 and stay there)!

Went for a hilly walk today and I can definitely feel it’s much easier at 8st than 14st. I can’t ever go back to that.

Happy Monday everyone. Has anyone tried Bolt? Keep seeing adverts saying they are really cheap but i don't want to go through whole consultation route ro find out the price!

MargoLivebetter · 20/04/2026 13:44

@FurForksSake I bet it was easier! Did you love it? I think everything is easier when we are not lugging all that extra weight around. Definitely moments like that to draw on when the snackcidents are in danger of happening - well for me at least!

MargoLivebetter · 20/04/2026 13:46

@Azuresky68 , I've never tried Bolt but this is a helpful price comparison site that seems to be regularly updated: https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

From that it doesn't look like Bolt are much cheaper to me. Maybe they offer a discount of the first order or something like that to try and hook you in.

Aaarrrgh!!!! I foolishky decided to do something about my very long standing insomnia whilst at the same time tapering off (1.5 mg every 10-14 days). And now I have out in 2.5kg! So am going back to weekly jab and upping dose to 2 untl
im through the worst of my sleep retraining (basically involves being more sleep deprived than I already am) . Am so so so so so pissed off with myself!!

MargoLivebetter · 21/04/2026 08:15

@Fluffypiece I'm fairly sure it is scientifically proven that we eat more when we are tired. Don't be too hard on yourself, as it sounds like you are over the worst and have a plan to get back on track. Insomnia is hideous. I'm sorry to hear that you have been suffering. I get properly feeble when sleep goes missing and definitely eat more to try and give myself energy and use it as food glue to try and hold myself together!

Hi there. Needing to order my next 10 mg - I use Pharmulous. I know we have the Monji price list but has anyone use any other providers for maintenance that are cheaper than Pharmulous (10 mg around £239) Many thanks

MargoLivebetter · Today 10:43

Bumping to see if anyone has any info for @Azuresky68 ?

Has anyone weaned down one click at a time?
I tried cutting down from 5mg to 3.75mg but it was too quick. I've worked out if I use my supply and order one more 5mg or 7.5mg I could go from 4.5mg 36 clicks 7.5mg pen one click at a time down to nothing by the beginning of next year.

Anyone got any experience of this?

FurForksSake · Today 19:10

I was doing this and then life and grief hit with a force when we lost my mil. I am trying to settle and then start that again. It was going well and I got down from 12.5 to 6.25 doing it.

ShrankLastWinter · Today 19:30

Decreasing a click at a time seems like a good idea and it’s what I’ll do if I want to cut down further from 5mg.

7.5 felt like too much so I just jumped down to 6.25 and then to 5, but I’ll go slower from here.

I just think this might be a way of weaning my body off without the foid noise hitting me hard!
