Anyone used Lloyds?

Just looking into using Lloyds pharmacy to reorder as they appear to have cheap first time rates- however it’s asking for payment for a consultation first?? Has anyone been through this process? Am I reading this right on their site? I’ve used Bolt & Pharmacy2u before & only ever had to fill in forms/ send pics with no charge.. I’m not paying £69 just to request the medication!

I have literally today just ordered for the first time with LLoyds. There’s no charge for a consultation. I just paid for the medication, with the £70 off for a first order.

bugalugs45 · 04/02/2026 17:11

I ordered with Lloyd’s last week , never paid for a consultation

SilenceInside · 04/02/2026 17:13

I’ve just read the T’s &Cs for the “£69” consultation… all they mean is that you can get £30 off a first time prescription if the order is over £99. It’s very badly worded. But Monj has a £70 off discount code which worked for me today.

SnowWhiteisMyFavourite · 04/02/2026 17:19

I was also looking into ordering from Lloyds but was put off with the “consultation charge”, thanks for explaining this. Do you know if they use Royal Mail for the delivery or can you choose a specific delivery date?

Did you send photos?

ItsStillWork · 04/02/2026 17:22

when I was on them, I ordered from Lloyds 95% of the time. You pay before they approve the medication. If the find you aren’t suitable under their conditions then they refund you

SilenceInside · 04/02/2026 17:28

@goingtotown I had to upload a photo of my previous prescription, as I am not a new starter. I presume they’d ask for photos if you were new to WLI.

SilenceInside · 04/02/2026 17:30

@SnowWhiteisMyFavourite their website says they mainly use Royal Mail, or sometimes Evri but it doesn’t say when they’d do that. They do next day delivery if approved by 5pm so I just delayed ordering until I knew I’d be in. I WFH so that is most days which helps.

cobblers00 · 04/02/2026 17:42

I’m finding the site confusing to navigate & can’t seem to bypass the consultation..

OP posts:
SilenceInside · 04/02/2026 17:44

The consultation is just the form that you fill out though?

cobblers00 · 04/02/2026 17:49

Got it. Meno-moment!

@goingtotown just wanted to update that after I wrote my earlier message, Lloyds got back to me and asked me to submit a video. You have to show your ID and do a video of you getting on scales and showing your weight and body shape.

cobblers00 · 05/02/2026 17:11

So I put order in yesterday & literally no checks beyond filling in my weight & height?!! No pics on scales.. nothing! It’s on its way. Previous 2 suppliers required much more proof of weight.

SilenceInside · 05/02/2026 17:23

@cobblers00 do you have a tracking number for the dispatch yet? I thought they weren’t going to do any checks other than a photo of my previous prescription but then I got a further message asking for a video done via their website.

cobblers00 · 05/02/2026 17:44

No but it says it’s been dispensed for delivery & the prescription is uploaded on my account. Seems very lax for such a high profile branded pharmacy but I’m not complaining!

Yes it was the same for me, didn't ask for anything even though I was using them for the first time! Great price and super quick delivery!

SilenceInside · 05/02/2026 23:06

Now I feel like I’ve been singled out for extra checks for some reason!

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 05/02/2026 23:43

I think Lloyd’s are lowering their prices and introducing a loyalty discount scheme.

cobblers00 · 06/02/2026 08:47

Emails from Royal Mail this morning- it’s on its way! £70 off first order & no checks. I’m happy to do the checks but they are a faff.

My order is also due today. It's weird how they check one person but not another, and it was a faff doing the video. I had to do about 4 different things within 25 seconds, done via their website so no chance to pre-record it. Which is fine, as a live video is harder to fake than a pre recorded one. Except.... that clearly not everyone is asked to do it!

Its so strange. Did you increase your dose? It did say it would ask for video but it was just approved. I checked the box to let GP know (my sons GF also ordered and had no checks) but not sure if that matters. Also I noticed the needles are from pharmacy 2u so not sure if that is linked as thats where my last 2 jabs were from and I had to do video for them.

SilenceInside · 06/02/2026 09:40

It was 10mg that I ordered, which is the dose I have been on for ages, and was my previous order with Swift. So not an increase in dose or anything, just a new customer but already taking Mounjaro. I have an existing Pharmacy2U account and have ordered Mounjaro from them in the past (as well as my NHS prescriptions and OTC stuff), I have done photos for Pharmacy2U before but not a video. So, who knows what their processes are! Maybe it's literally random who they ask for a video.

Yeah, maybe a bit like airport security, they have to check every X number of people 🤷🏻‍♀️

cobblers00 · 06/02/2026 13:37

So I think they’ve made a mistake with me. Medication arrived this morning. I’ve just received by email a request to submit a bmi & id check. Bit late!

Puts them in a bit of a tricky spot if they decide they shouldn't have prescribed. Which isn't the case for you, but could have been for someone else.
