I was hoping for some questions answered prior..

♡ best trust worthy suppliers to purchase from as i dont think id be eligible via NHS.
♡ pros and cons woth regards to side effects and any severe reactions?
♡ I have read there is a higher risk of thyroid tumours? Has anyone had personal experience with this?
♡ any general.advice you could offer with regards how to start it? Ive also read you can feel more 'unwell' if you have a virus whilst injecting?

Sorry if non of this makes much sense..Just looking for some advice.

Look at https://monj.co.uk for a list of regulated UK providers. They are all registered with the GPhC. There are familiar names like Asda, Boots, Lloyds, Ashcroft, Superdrug etc as well as the online only pharmacies. They will all offer Wegovy and Mounjaro.

Wegovy is bit less effective than Mounjaro and has slightly higher risk of side effects. Side effects in general are usually mild and manageable.

The risk of thyroid tumours is theoretical in humans. There has not been a confirmed case related to GLP1s in all the research trials to date. There was one animal study where rodents were given massive life long overdoses and some eventually developed specific kinds of thyroid tumours. So, if you have a family history of those particular types of thyroid tumours then usually Mounjaro is not recommended. So it’s not relevant for the vast majority of people.

In terms of tips for starting, once you’ve made a decision to take and you’ve been prescribed it, just crack on and start it! Don’t over think it all.
