Apologies I’m sure this thread is here already. I’m 2 years off loosing 50kg naturally and in the last year have put 20kg back on. And I’m struggling so I’m going to try a new way.

So - I need to choose a provider, yes? Using the comparison websites I’ve seen linked? And they will tell me what to get and how much and when to increase my dose? Is that right or are there other resources that will tell me (a month on lowest and increase? Month on month?).

I’ve had my gallbladder removed some years ago but I think this isn’t an issue?

Im thinking I will take Mounjaro alongside following the Fast 800 diet.

Everything is pinned on this. And if it reduces my joint pain so that I can run again that would be marvellous too….

Thank you all in advance for the stupid question thread…looking forward to joining November starters asap….

Yes, you choose a provider. Some providers may have an issue with the lack of gallbladder, but I know there are many people who have been prescribed it by various providers. There are some specific threads about it you could probably find with an advanced search.

Everyone starts with the 2.5mg dose for 4 weeks. Then it's up to you if you want to increase to 5mg or stay on 2.5mg. If a dose level is working for you then there's no need to automatically go up to the next dose. Similarly, if you go up a dose and it's too strong for you, then you can go back down again.

First thing is to check whether you meet the criteria. Is your bmi over 30?

@DarkForces- sadly yes 😢

Thanks @SilenceInside- the amount of information is overwhelming!!

No worries. One thing it’s useful to be aware of is that some of the providers operate a subscription model. They charge you every 4 weeks and some will assume you want to move up dose too. The Monj site lists which ones are subscriptions.

Also, you will usually get a big discount for your first order, but after that if you stay with the same supplier you will pay their full price. So worth checking you know what the price will go up to. You can change provider each month if you want, to take advantage of the new customer discounts.
