Hi just ordered first dose of Monjaro
I’m really keen to avoid side effects as much as possible but know I’m very sensitive to meds.

Can I ask some questions please of those of you with a bit more experience?

  1. What foods make you feel sick? I have read that fat does - but we need to eat fat to be healthy right? So what fats are ok?
  2. What sickness meds help you if you feel off? I hate gaviscon - would rennies / peppermint be ok?
  3. If you get headaches are they manageable with paracetamol or a nap for eg?
  4. If you were taking supplements before WLIs did you continue to do so?
  5. What’s the best time of day to inject? And why?
  6. Diarrhoea / constipation - how do you cope? How long does it last?
  7. have you felt down / moody / depressed at all?
  8. If the injection site is irritated how do you deal with that?
  9. Do you inject in your thigh?

Thanks and sorry for all the questions!
I’d like to stock up in advance of any possible probs.

Just do it. Doesn’t matter when you do it, and you can always change the day and time if it turns out it doesn’t suit you. Key thing is to actually start.

Thanks for your replies @SilenceInside and @NotMeNoNo- sitting here totally overthinking whenI should do first jab 🙄

Do it when you feel ready, I personally prefer tea time about 6ish that way if I have any side effects I sleep them off and it’s not to close to mealtime so I don’t suffer with Acid reflux as much in the night. Hope this helps
