What's the deal with Chequp?

I keep seeing people spamming the boards with their referral codes (and wonder how the maths works out given the current pricing issues) but they aren't on the Monj list which makes me assume they must be dodgy in some way. Also saw a thread where someone was saying they hadn't had their own or something. Are they legit (just curious, not looking to use them as the constant spamming massively puts me off).

Don't forget all these comparison websites are money-making, so non-inclusion may just mean the owner hasn't managed to strike a deal with the pharmacy over commissions.

I'd personally avoid Chequp because they are a subscription service and nope. I will choose when to get my next pen thank you very much! Not sure they are dodgy, but a Trustpilot score of 4.2 is low enough for me to avoid when it comes to meds.

I've been using Chequp for a few months.

Chequp will offer £50 off for a new user and £50 for the existing user who supplies the new person's email address.
Given the price increases it makes sense tbh.
I hope I've explained that properly

I’ve been using Chequp for the last 6 months and never had any problems with them. Yes they do a referral scheme (my last leaflet said £25 off, not £50, but it may have increased with the price hike). They’re a subscription service but you can change the renewal date as often as you like (as long as you order no later than 8 weeks past your last prescription date).

As you can see - its a bit of a pyramid scheme type issue. It has high prices and people get discounts of their pens by referring someone. So people post everywhere how good it is in the hope people will use their code so they can then afford their next pen...

Mumofboys2006 · 28/09/2025 00:53

I’m with chequp and they’ve been great. You get £50 off for both you and the referer which adds up to quite a lot of money. I got a 7.5mg dose for about £80 this month because I had so much credit through referrals. The pen always comes through very promptly.

That's what I was thinking, their base prices must be very high for them to be able to afford to give such big discounts. Doesn't sound very sustainable.

No - and it still reeks of being unethical to me as they post how wonderful it is and mention the code as they hope people will ask them for it and use it. That's not right in my mind!

Mumofboys2006 · 28/09/2025 20:38

The prices are similar to others. It is actually genuine tbh! I would say try it for one month. And if you feel it’s not good cancel it. I think there are others that are slightly cheaper but their turnaround from ordering to delivery is super quick.

Nah, as I said above, not interested in switching and if I did I wouldn't go to a company that work on either a subscription model or referrals. Just was curious why their users are so keen to spam the boards.

I went with CheqUp because they were one of the cheapest for Wegovy when I was looking. So far I'm very happy ( but only just on my second week) I've had a video call with a health coach ( no extra cost) who has given me advice on how to manage my diet and I can book another one whenever I want. They also have access to clinicians if you want to talk about side effects.
I really don't see them as any different to many other providers.
I got someone on here to refer me and genuinely got £50 off my first order.

AnyQuestions101 · 28/09/2025 21:09

I’m with Chequp. I’ve never used a referral or a discount code. It’s v affordable in my opinion and you can change the date you receive it really easily. I chose them because theirs was the advert that popped up the most and stayed in my head

LittlePineapple · 28/09/2025 22:43

I don't know about other doses but for 10mg (one I'm on) chequp is exactly £50 more per a month than the cost of the ones I'm looking at.

Fine if you're caught up in the referral we but literally £50 a month more than others so not what most people would call affordable!

EducatingArti · 29/09/2025 08:18

Is that for mounjaro or Wegovy?
