Exercise and PCOS

So mainly a question for those who have been on MJ a little while.
Prior to starting MJ I would go to the gym most days, eating pretty healthy etc etc but I’ve often wondered if the hard sessions and constant workouts were actually causing cortisol levels to rise because of my pcos and therefore part of the problem I wasn’t losing weight.
since starting the jabs I’ve not been to the gym, it’s the holidays and I just wanted to give it a few weeks getting into it all before introducing exercise back in.
So can anyone tell me if they have noticed a change with their exercise working with their body and the jabs or if actually maybe I should be taking it easier at the gym when I go back?

Following with interest, but don't have an answer, sorry. I have PCOS but I'm not on a WLI.

Out of curiosity, how did you detect the rising cortisol levels? A blood test?

No no blood tests for cortisol, it’s very well documented that certain high level stress can cause it to rise and therefore with pcos you have to be more careful what exercise you do.
Ive ignored that advice in the past, doing cardio, Bootcamp, HIIT etc (as well as weights) but now I’m looking to see if I can do something different because when I was doing all of the above mentioned and eating in a big calorie deficit no weight was being lost.
