As above, I'm checking online but not heard any prices yet for September for mj from pharmolous, oushk, we prescribe, and family chemist.
Has anyone heard anything yet?

Nope. I was at the chemist this morning and they said that they are still waiting to hear

Yellowsubmarine55 · 26/08/2025 16:27

Oushk have just emailed them out to customers

toodledo · 26/08/2025 16:31

Waiting on Pharmulous too...

WeAllHaveWings · 26/08/2025 16:41

Oushk just sent out. With a £15 off code.

Maintenance will have a flat £20 off code (instead of %), but no longer free P&P

Who can afford this? I just about afford the current prices!

MJMabel · 26/08/2025 16:54

Had an email from Oushk at 4.20pm saying prices going up today from 5pm. Managed to jump on the website and buy a pen at ‘old prices’ just in time.

I tried to buy two pens actually, but I couldn’t get the ‘amount’ field to update from 1 to 2, so I checked out 1 with the hope of going back on. Jumped back on and the new price was showing, even though it’s not 5pm yet.

So that’s that, into the world of new pricing. Not great. Glad I managed to get a final pen, I’d planned on doing this over the weekend ie before 1 September which is the date I’d assumed the prices would go up.

Oushk prices without the £15/£20 discount already applied (picture)

Hopefully some of the bigger pharmacies will be able to negotiate better prices.

Nomoretopswithblacktrousers · 26/08/2025 19:15

And hopefully prices will begin to drop once pharmacies start factoring in their rebates. Suspect it'll take a big pharmacy to start the decrease as they'll be less reliant on the cash flow.

Pharmulous' prices are up, quite competitive all things considered Pharmulous: Trusted Online Pharmacy https://share.google/np0AZar8BSwc4vPww

@WeAllHaveWings Is the Oushk discount code a general one you can share? Been with them a couple of months but never get emails!

Not allowed to share codes here - you'll see the email and the NEW code for 15 off 😉 in the Circle group under emails and announcements.

The discount codes, maintenance codes etc. for Oushk just irritate me. Why not just have a bloody price? Also the email saying "new prices from, er, now!".

At the risk of diverting the thread, can anyone explain Oushk maintenance to me? I don't understand why I'd pay a retainer of £15 a month to save £5 on the price if/when you choose to go back on it.

Because at a lower BMI some companies may not accept you starting again 10 months after stopping treatment whereas they will as you'll be on their books so they know your history.

That's how I understand it, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes that's right. I'm still amazed Oushk are allowed to get away with it - essentially paying £15 to breach the normal guidelines. I'm not criticising anyone who takes up the offer - I just find it strange Oushk can offer the service.

It (allegedly) includes extras, would be interested on what support anyone on it has had, what a "personalised" plan looks like and if they found it useful -

What’s included?

  • Lifestyle Coaching
  • Our experts will work with you to develop a personalised plan that emphasises healthy eating, regular physical activity, and other sustainable lifestyle changes.
  • Ongoing Support
  • Even without medication, you'll continue to receive support from our team to help you maintain your weight loss through non-pharmacological means.
  • Flexibility to Reintroduce Medication
  • If you find it challenging to maintain your weight without medication, this package offers the option to reintroduce medication even if you are at a lower BMI. We'll determine the appropriate dose based on factors like your current BMI and how love you've been off the medication.

Here is a table for all the September prices. Gets updated all the time.

I will be sticking with Pharmulous. I'm only a couple of stone away from maintenance.

They are quite god compared to medexpress. Surely medexpress will have to drop their prices as nobody will stay with them if they’re getting on for £50 a pen more.

MonjourMadame · 26/08/2025 19:57

Thanks All - I hadn't thought about it being in 10 month's time. I was thinking more like three months. With all the price upset and being encouraged to buy three pens (I didn't) I thought it'd be easy to claim you'd used a bit of a stockpile up.

MonjourMadame · 26/08/2025 19:59

Back on thread - I guess these are just Oushk's prices for September? It'll be interesting to see how the "competition" between the pharmacies goes.

Yellowsubmarine55 · 26/08/2025 20:21

I wonder if they're going to see their customers flock to somewhere cheaper and they will as and then 'find' a new price point.
