Are weight loss jabs worth it?

Has anyone privately used weight loss jobs and how have you found them?

I have been loosing weight through dieting but am genuinely getting annoyed with seeing all my friends who are on the jabs loose weight faster than me. They have the jabs and continue to eat and drink like they used to, meanwhile I am literally working my butt off to lose weight.

Are they worth it? I have health anxiety and this is the only reason I haven’t tried them so far as I know I will be panicking about what they are doing to me 🤦🏻‍♀️

100% worth it for me. I’m not losing fast and I don’t eat and drink as before. I use a low dose of MJ to support my healthy eating and am 6 and a half stone lighter.

On good days I eat and drink what I used to eat , BUT a lot less of it. Guess it depends what the issue is for being overweight in the first place. I had two dieticians look at my food diary over the years. (One with pictures of all meals) one was NHS one private and both arrived to the same conclusion: “portion size”. On bad days, sometimes all I can bear is a slice of toast and water. Taking in the same amount of calories and losing weight on MJ doesn’t make sense.

A lotto late to the thread, but I am on MJ and if I am meeting my friends for dinner/drinks, I basically won’t eat the entire day, or maybe a banana first thing. So then when we got out for dinner, I have at least some capacity for a larger meal and drinks. But still I won’t order a starter and rarely a dessert, but it does seem to go under the radar as not everyone orders everything anyway.
When I go out with male friends it tends to be just drinks anyway and then I swerve the late night curry or kebab

I’m on MJ AND I’m working my butt off as you describe OP to chip away a small amount at a time so I find it offensive that you sweep the board with your comments insinuating it’s easy.
It is not.
It still means working hard, considering every morsel that goes into my body. Calorie counting (I’m on around 800 a day), weighing out, balancing protein and carbs, it’s a fucking slog.

It is working, but very very slowly and minimal loss each week despite my strenuous efforts.

I have massive health anxiety too. To the point where my pen sat in the fridge for 2 months and when I finally talked myself in to starting, I had a panic attack straight after the first time I injected.

I’ve just done injection 7 and it’s honestly changed my life. I’ve had very few side effects, have lost over a stone so far and it has helped me with a lot of my perimenopause symptoms. I’m feeling better about myself and I’m not ruled by food any longer. Walking around the supermarket and not wanting to grab treats and not craving takeaways and wine has almost made me feel lighter in my head.

I never thought I’d get to a healthy weight again, whenever I diet I lose a bit and then it stops or I lose willpower. This time I know with MJ I actually will reach a health weight and I feel positive about that.

Not read whole thread but yes WLI jabs are definitely worth it. A great tool that has helped me move from a high level of obesity to being a healthy weight. WLI is now helping me to maintain. They have been the best investment in myself for years.
