5mg - awful side effects

I moved up to 5mg on Thursday. Prior to that had done 4 weeks on 2.5mg and then one 3.75mg dose.

It was working well for me, but was starting to feel hungry day4-5 so new it was time to up the dose.

Felt ok thursday night, then friday started with sulphur burps and terrible, explosive diarrhoea. Food is coming out undigested and I have abdominal pain. I feel ill, probably partly because I imagine I'm quite dehydrated.

it's day 4 now, when will this hell stop?! And Should I go back down to 3.75mg or 2.5mg this week, no way can I cope with this on 5mg

How are people doing their 3.75mg dose please? Is it as simple as turning to 90 clicks instead of 60 on the 2.5mg pen?

For me it’s was about 24 hours

I’ve been on MJ for 17 months and am still only on between 6-6.5mgs I’ve lost nearly six stones. I would say to others if you’re losing weight and managing your hunger don’t be in a rush to increase the doses.

Oh wow this has me worried now… I went up to 5mg last week after 10 weeks on 2.5mg. Have felt completely fine so was going to do 5mg again this week but we fly the day after my injection day so maybe I shouldn’t in case things change! Aaaargh!

5 was too strong for me, I lost all my weight on 2.5 and 3.75 after a nasty week on 5!

I did 9 weeks on 2.5 mgs then did 3.75 but felt ill on that and am now on 3mgs which is giving me good suppression and am slowly losing weight. Unsure if I will make to 5mgs.

I'm on week 19 and 4mg. I have spent 9 weeks at 2.5mg, 3 weeks at 3mg, 4 weeks at 3.5mg and 3 at 4mg.

I'm now 11lbs away from my target weight so will spend a few more weeks at 4mg and then go back down slowly, half a mg at a time.
