Has anyone had floating stools on MJ?

My health anxiety is through the roof after reading a Daily Mail article about the only symptom someone had of pancreatic cancer being floating stools. My stools have been floating whilst on Mounjaro and now I'm convinced I have something awful.

Has anyone else had any floating stools whilst on MJ due to fat content?

Talk to your provider if you are worried. Talk to your GP if you’re still worried.
Don’t imagine that hoofbeats are a herd of zebras, but be responsible.

I've been to the GP today who is sending me for blood tests and a ultrasound but was looking for any others who may have had the same to help my anxiety in the meantime.

Have you increased the amount of vegetables/fibre you eat? My stools float and I think it’s a reflection of my much healthier diet.

miniworry · 14/08/2025 22:29

@tryingtobesogood I've definitely increased my fibre as I was worried about the constipation side effects!

That will have an effect on the composition of your poo. Nit a bad thing to get it checked out but if you are tackling health anxiety it’s good to remember that there is often a logical and rational explanation.

have you had any therapy for your HA?

Woahbodyforrrrm · 15/08/2025 00:12

I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling anxiety and I’m glad your GP is going to look into it.

I thought most stools did float which is why they’re often referred to as floaters. But any change in your bowels is well worth getting checked out. It sounds like you have a great proactive GP. I hope your results come back reassuring for you Flowers

@tryingtobesogood I take sertraline for it but I'll be honest I've never had therapy for it. It's just something that I've lived with for years but since having my second child it's spiralled. Thanks for offering me some words of calm xx
