Injection site rash

I’m week 16 of mounjaro and have had an injection site reaction for probably the last 6/7 weeks.
It comes up as a red itchy hot patch which lasts for about four days.
It hasn’t got any worse over the weeks and is very manageable but just wondering if anyone has anything similar?
I have tried ensuring the medication is room temperature, moving sites, injecting into fat etc.
I have used aloe vera gel which is really helpful.

Did you get any of the jab fluid on your skin? If you have a read below that seems to be a common factor in itchy reaction.

Good that you have contacted your provider :) hopefully just a bit of a panicky reaction causing the other symptoms, I felt weird after the rash happened to me but think it was just jitters. All fine though, the rash took a couple of days to fade.

Ah thank you - yes I wondered if just a rush of adreline and panic! Honestly I can be so brave but anything that happens in my body I turn into a hypochondriac with something terminal!

I kept getting rashes that developed when I got to the 10mg dose. I worried that I was becoming allergic to mounjaro with the higher doses.

Am now on 15mg. I read somewhere (possibly on this thread - if so, thank you!) that it was the antiseptic wipe causing a rash, not the mounjaro.

I did the last jab without wiping the injection site first with antiseptic. No rash whatsoever! 😅I feel pretty stupid. I don't think I was wiping my skin to start with then at some point starting doing it. Duh.
