Titrating UP Mounjaro 2.5ml

Hi :)

I have 2 pens of 2.5ml but i need to increase my dose.
I have read not to take more than 1 dose at one time.
So, my plan is to take 2.5ml Monday & 1.25ml Thursday so I am leaving a clear 72 hours between injections.

Has anyone used this approach successfully?

Has anyone injected more than 1 dose from a pen in one go?

Any feedback/comments welcome

@Terry2025 any how. I think the general consensus is that doing one dose a week of a dose you’re comfortable with, like 3.75mg, is a low risk and reasonable plan. Whether that’s via two injections or using a separate syringe. Good luck with it and hope you continue to manage your side effects in the future.

So considering there's only 5 minutes to edit a post and I was still in process of writing the post and hit post instead of preview you must have checked in about 30 seconds of me hitting send. That's desperate.

OH GOSH! i did not mean to cause so much trouble!

In my attempt to keep my question brief i excluded what is clearly key information

I had horrendous SE with Wegovy last year - it made me very ill with chronic constipation which i have to manage every day with dietary choices.

So, I started Mounjaro end of May very slowly and did a snails pace rise to a weekly 2.5ml dose

I found this both a manageable and effective dose until early last week when I began to realise the "flattening" of the effect and began thinking of increasing my dose. Unfortunately only 48hours before this i had ordered 2 x 2.5ml pens on a special offer so I have them to use up. Clearly, i will going forward order 5ml pens!

Hope this has cleared up all questions

Some providers allow multiple orders and there's nothing stopping people at the moment ordering from 2 places at the same time. Don't agree with the lack of regulation on this btw but it is what it is.

Oh wowser. I had no idea.

Not something I'm interested in pursuing, I was just curious. Definitely not ideal for sure.

Yes i just changed supplier and it did occur to me that there is nothing stopping someone ordering multiple pens from multiple pharmacies (obv I wouldn’t do this).

I was just ordering my pen as usual, and at the checkout page it flashed up as a special offer - buy 2 save 20% and like a SUCKER I was in 🤣
