GP being notified - delays

Hi,

Has anyone experienced big delays in their GP being notified?

I’d given permission for this to happen when I most recently returned to an online pharmacy as opposed to face to face whom I also found out didn’t notify the GP and to be fair I can’t remember this being a question they actually asked.

I just feel queasy about upsetting the apple cart with my current supplier as previously I’d always opt’d for I’ll tell the GP (which I did do in the form of meeting with diabetic nurse and when took part in a medication review and I even have Saxenda documented as a private prescription and there was a trail that went past a GP.)

I now have a black part on my foot if I were to hop on any scales to get picture proof of weight or heaven forbid I get accused of trying to put weight on through the leg being bandaged so I reckon I’m definitely limited to where I can get my medication.

It’s odd because I even saw a private gynaecologist in April who promised to write a letter to convert what was a private prescription into nhs (something I used once and never again anyway) and nothing for that shows neither which I’m pretty surprised about. I don’t think it is admin at my local practice because everything I send them ends up in documents.

I have no idea what you are talking about!

What’s the significance of your GP being notified, OP?

Who are you currently ordering online with @RebelliousHoping?

So they cannot turn around in August at a diabetic remission review and say we are unaware. 🤷🏻‍♀️ when it dawns on them actually for the best part of 5 months I’ve still been taking a form of diabetic medication, which no one seems to comprehend, or maybe not.

Honestly feel like banging my head against a brick wall. I’ve done what I can I told the person carrying out a medical review in the first for my GP practise, written on A&E paperwork, never hidden the use of injections. Spoke up when on a ward if I should carry on when home. Should have realised when they said had I injected into my swollen left leg and foot to try and bring that down to realise the medics are just off their rocker.

Amazed for all these so called tighter regulations coming in that actually someone can be into this position, looking at the nhs record and think why is it missing stuff that I’ve agreed can be notified, but it’s probably as responsible as diabetic nurse: have you been drinking alcohol? Me Yes, had a difficult time last year. Diabetic nurse well your liver bloods don’t show this.
Just feel let down by everyone as a medic or with some sort of prescribing responsibility.

London Slimming Clinic but I admit the order took longer than normal to go through. So they are probably scared as I wrote out recent events. Yes they are expensive but I had a good history with them and trust their actual pharmacy.

Before that two occasions in an actual pharmacy (set up to help people avoid the black market) who were slightly cheaper but provided no proof I’d purchased the injections beyond a pdq receipt and being seen on my bank statement, physical box.

Why don’t you just write a letter to your GP stating that you’ve been prescribed Mounjaro by the London Slimming Clinic, and include evidence of that, like screenshots of your confirmed order and an image of your medication box with the prescription label visible. Ask your GP practice to add this information to your NHS record.

For any future appointments or interactions with any health care professionals, if you think they don’t know that you’re taking Mounjaro, just tell them and ask them to make a note of it.

Does it matter if they didn’t know? You go for your review in August, all good hopefully ‘oh I he e bene on WLI’ and that’s it

I don’t have a clue what you are on about your foot
