Has anyone been asked to do this? Wearing skin tight clothing before they will reissue an injection? Will they still issue or can they refuse? It’s the first time I’ve been asked so just wondered. Thanks!

Sounds like a perfectly reasonable and responsible prescriber request to me.

Do you have concerns?

TheChosenTwo · 09/06/2025 20:59

I’m with Oushk and have sent photos in my underwear from my application and every month since (8 months or so?).
I think that they say if you’ve sent one in the last 3 months then it’s not compulsory but I take the progress photos monthly for myself anyway so I just add them to my order.
I’m surprised not all providers are asking for photos in at least very form fitting clothes tbh.
Who are you with?

Olderbeforemytime · 09/06/2025 20:59

My provider asks for new months every month.

Confusedmom25 · 09/06/2025 20:59

Yes.
I thought it was a reasonable request

CallIpswichNow · 09/06/2025 21:01

Yes, and I had no issue with it

Pyjamatimenow · 09/06/2025 21:02

Every month now they ask. I just wear leggings and a tank top

housemaus · 09/06/2025 21:04

Makes sense. They want to check at the start, as they should, as it's important for prescribing correctly - so it makes perfect sense to check in during prescribing too using the same method. Most medications require a check-in periodically to make sure it's still suitable.

MissEloiseBridgerton · 09/06/2025 21:06

They are cracking down on prescribing safety as it's been found that people who are not overweight are still using it.

Belindabelle · 09/06/2025 21:23

Been with Cloud since September and had to send new photo last month.

LadyGAgain · 09/06/2025 21:31

I don’t have concerns. I just hadn’t been asked again. I also don’t understand the rules. I’m still not down to the weight I want (I’m a size 14) so was just asking for others experience.
once you’re down to size, do they stop prescribing (risking weight gain) or reduce the dose?

I think it depends who you’re with. Some pharmacies will prescribe down to different bmi’s. My bmi is 20.1 and they’re still prescribing it for me

HansHolbein · 09/06/2025 21:36

@MissEloiseBridgerton You are allowed to use it with a healthy BMI, provided you started with an obese BMI. You are also allowed to stay on it long term if you want to.

If you meant they are cracking down on prescribing safety for people attempting to start WLI at a healthy BMI then yes, then would be correct - and so they should.

LadyGAgain · 09/06/2025 21:45

I agree. I was high BMI when I started and have lost 3 stone so far. I believe in responsible prescribing but also, we don’t want to regain what we lost!

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 09/06/2025 21:50

To be at the upper limit of a healthy BMI the NHS website says I have to lose another stone. And that’s to be on the borderline of healthy and overweight!

HansHolbein · 09/06/2025 21:50

@LadyGAgain Well done you on your loss. Really happy for you. It’s so nice to be free, isn’t it?

Don’t worry too much about the photos. They are just looking after us. Who are you with?

LadyGAgain · 09/06/2025 23:15

Thank you @HansHolbein- amazing name!!! Pharmacy to you. Anyone else?

OP posts:
LadyGAgain · 09/06/2025 23:16

And yes… I can’t explain how amazing it is to “be free”. A life game changer on so many levels!

Cloud Pharmacy asked me after a few months, so I sent them photos wearing leggings and a tight bra top, so they could see my rolls😣😂 I didn’t mind.

Goatblu · 13/06/2025 19:54

I've been with Cloud since September/October and had to send a new photo last month. I don't like tight clothes so don't own any - they were subjected to a photo of me in vest and pants. They haven't asked for a photo this month!

Because they don't care if tou develop an ED. At BMI 20 it's irresponsible of them to prescribe to you.
