Any June starters on wegovy?

I’ve just been prescribed wegovy and am waiting for the text to pick it up, so will be starting ASAP.

Anyone with me?

Would welcome any tips/support.

Ooh I did look and couldn’t find it - only found a Mounjaro one. What’s it called please?

Oohhh sorry - I misread your title. Yes there is one that has MJ in the title - I just joined that one as there aren’t many people here on Wegovy I don’t think. Hopefully a few more may see this one and join. I will try to remember to check in here as well

There isn’t a lot of people on Wegovy. From the experience of buying in a chemist there was only me and another person on it, it turned out.

I have found it better than MJ - no eggy burps, able to eat thin steak and eggs.
Had mild constipation on 0.25 but since on 0.50 that hasn’t been the case.

I have even had a months break (not recommended if can be avoided) and been no worse for it (the appetite didn’t immediately powerfully come back)

I was on the same dose but have decided to go up to the next dose of 1mg which I start in a couple of weeks.

Did it work as well? I think I opted for this as I thought it seemed less harsh with the side effe ts but I do sctually want it to work too.

Yes it has worked slowly for me, a stone off since Feb and doing amazing with blood glucose. Not put any weight on. Been super active and less so and still no gain 🙂 I reckon for complete newbies it has every chance. I still remember when I first got on Saxenda and lost 12lb in the first week 😃 you’ve got this.

I weighed myself this morning (first jab was Friday night so day 3) and nothing has happened.

But I’m still staring at the breakfast I made around 6.45am. Although I have had a protein shake.

Hi I just started on Friday! Not feeling any appetite suppression and all the food noise is there so hoping it works for me! Will give it a go for a few months anyway!

I’m just under 3lbs down (will ‘officially’ weigh tomorrow morning) and I can definitely feel a difference. No food noise, not especially hungry etc. I’m still enjoying food but I’m not finding it difficult to be in a massive calorie deficit.

Scores on the doors, 2.8lbs down in week 1. Ngl I’m a little disappointed, but I also know that’ll be just over 10lbs in the first month if it carries on so I’m trying to wind my neck in.

It hasn’t moved from yesterday, wondering if that’s because I went running last night.

Me. I’ve had 4 doses. I thought I’d ordered Munjaro but they sent wegovy. So had no choice but to use it as won’t return or refund. Not lost very much.

I’ve not had a great first week. Not lost anything, have had no appetite suppression and hoping I’m not going to be one of these people that it doesn’t work for but I’ll persevere for now!

I’m currently staying with my parents and it’s been really hard work having to eat when they want to. As I’m really not hungry at all!

I had similar last weekend when we went away with my in-laws. My MIL is a baker and she brought enough cakes and biscuits to open a shop! Then when I had just one small piece she was all weekend “oh what is wrong - did I do something wrong - have some more” aghh

My weight has gone up again this week so far (2nd jab done Friday) so I’m not sure what’s happening. Hopefully just some random nonsense and it’ll go back down. I was buzzing on Sunday when it dropped. I’ll do an official tally on Sat.

2 days after my 3rd jab and I am definitely feeling the effects more this week. Also started a daily dose of Movical as no matter how much fibre, prunes, kiwi I have - things are umm slow!

How is everyone getting on? 4th jab tomorrow for me and aside from a little constipation not many side effects. The appetite suppression only lasted 2-3 days the last week. I think I will move up to 0.5mg next dose (5).

I’ve just finished my first week of Wegovy. No choice, as Mounjaro is not an option because of other drugs I have to take. Very interested to see that most people are taking MJ. I have certainly not wanted to snack between meals and expect I have lost a small amount, but nothing drastic. Very pleased that I’ve had no side affects.

I’m on week 8. I’m already on a really friendly, fast paced, MN, group, but they are all taking mounjaro. Their weight losses are impressive, mine, not so much.
Anyway, after 7 weeks, my weight loss was a disappointing 9lbs. I didn’t have much suppression and I think the weight loss was down to my hard flippin work, however….took my 1st 1mg on Friday and am down a kg already, so it looks like this may be when the magic starts.
Dont give up!

Just been prescribed Wegovy (I live abroad) and waiting for the pen to be delivered during the week. I may just scrape in as a June starter….

Going on holiday 2nd week of July so interested to get started before that….
