This was only a few months off MJ. I'm hoping they the follow up but we don't know that it didn't keep increasing.. Im thinking I may need to stay on it long term as I had hoped 2years on it would change my set point.
And re diet and exercise... It's a false dichotomy. It really isn't one of the other
Mounjaro has enabled me to put in the healthy eating plans I've always wanted tk be able to do. Many many people on MJ say their tastes change but also that MJ enables them to plan food, stick to nutritious food etc. I'm not snacking on junk. If anything I think Mj is a threat the the upf manufacturers. They will fight back.
Exercise... Well for about 8 years I've been unable to walk very much and some years had to stop at 8mins - everything was planned around limited mobility. I tried to pace I tried to increase but it was painful.
Mj has reduced inflammation and increased blood flow and enabled me to walk. This has been lifechanging. I now walk 30-75 mins every night and am so much more mobile. This happened before significant weight loss.
I think there will be a lot of trying to paint MJ/ozempic etc as bad as lots of people and companies have money invested in products slimmer people will use/eat less off. Money drives so much.... (see Chris Van. Tulleken and the vested interests of people on a various nutrition boards...)
