Losing an apron tummy after 5st loss?

I've been very overweight since a child and always had an apron tummy. Partly I think due to body shape- I’m sure not everyone is cursed with a an apron.

I’ve weighed between 11st12 and 16 st + as a adult Mainly yo yo ing between 13-15 stone.

I have lost 3st since January and am now 12st 12 (first time since 2012) Want to lose another 2 stone.

I’m wondering will the apron ever go!? It still sits like a ring around my lower stomach and overhangs at one side more than the other giving a weird side roll.

I am considering surgery if I get to 10st 12. But I’d rather not. I’m not after a flat stomach but less of an overhang and no side rolls!

I think I must be really lucky, I've lost almost 7st since starting in October last year and I'm really surprised at how far my overhang is shrinking back and up. Might be a lil bit TMI but my pubic area has almost gone back to original state as well. I haven't lost an inch off my boobs yet. I've gone from a 57" butt and belly down to 44". That's more than a foot long subway 😲😲. I like to have a visual comparison.

I've read lots that say stomach is usually the last place it comes off and the only way for it to go completely is to be in a calorie deficit. I'm under no illusion that my stomach will ever be flat unless I get under 8.5st.

Don't get me wrong I'm still massively overweight and I still have about 6.5st to lose to get to middle of healthy weight for my height.

Keep going, I'm sure you'll get there without the need for surgery 🥰🥰
