Hi
At 11:10 I’m 2 stone over my ideal weight for my height build.
Age playing a big part and I’ve tried everything to shift this, slimming world, fasting etc.
Am interested to know if anyone with this amount to lose has used WLIs to do so.
thank you x

Yes I have
5ft4 started at 12s10
Currently 11s1
I did get down to 10s10 but gained a little back after stopping too soon and so I have gone back on MJ to try lose this last stone.
I suspect I have found it harder as it’s a smaller amount plus less willpower plus I was never eating extreme amounts constantly just a build up over 10 years or so in a very stressful job.
I wish I hadn’t come off it the first time as suppression was amazing but I’m not noticing it as much this time around. People have advised me that it takes a higher dose to notice suppression once your body has got used to it x

Yes, I want to lose 2 stone, starting weight was 11 stone 5, 6 weeks in, it’s 10 stone 6, so almost a stone off. I had recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea so I qualified with a BMI of 27. It’s been fantastic, because previous to this, age, menopause etc had made it feel so hard, and I was trying but really struggling to lose any weight. For the last 6 weeks I’ve found it easy to eat healthy, only wanting small portions, and had no cravings.

Depends entirely whether the extra 1-2 stone takes your BMI to over 30. For the love of God do not buy unofficial WLIs off Facebook or something, the regulations exist for a reason!

Thank you for replies. Which jabs did you both use and did you go via GP?
I’m noting @LoopyLou94 warning re regulation.

If you have a BMI > 30 (or >27 with a weight related health condition) you can buy privately from a pharmacy. Very few get them from the NHS at the moment as they are prioritising those most in need and have a 12 year roll out plan.

monj.co.uk is a list of the most popular safe registered online pharmacies you can use and prices. You might have local pharmacies that do them too, but they tend to be more expensive, just make sure they are GPhC registered.

I used MedExpress for my first months prescription and then changed to ZAVA because it was more cost effective
