Lines or wrinkles since starting MJ

Hi. I have been taking mounjaro for 17 weeks and at my 18th week just increased my dose to 7.5mg from 5mg.

In noticed my hair was thinner a few weeks ago but now notice a lot more lines and wrinkles on my face.

I am happy that I’ve lost one and a half stone and think my face would have this change anyway whether it was with MJ or natural weight loss through any ‘normal’ diet.

Has anyone else noticed this change?

I've been on MJ since January and have lost 14.3kgs. I have definitely noticed more wrinkles on my face and particularly under my chin. I now have a crepe-y patch where my skin hangs all loose and wrinkly. But lots of people are commenting on how skinny my face is looking. If only the weight loss went where I really want it to go!!

Thanks for sharing your comments. I’ve now noticed horrible crepe skin on my thighs. …. But what is my preference? Reduce weight and be healthier or stay overweight without many wrinkles or crepe skin 😋 I’m actually not sure anymore but obviously know being a healthy weight is better for us. I just hate the negative stuff but at least I look better with fully clothed 😂

Healthier weight all the way. Most can be sorted with clothing and good underwear. I’m a bit saggy undressed but who cares, I spend 99% of the time clothed!

I dropped from BMI 27 to 20. My face has suffered. My family are horrified. They are over weight and dont like skinny . My cholesterol is now low. I'm getting Botox and fillers for lost volume. I'm off the MJ now so I'd imagine I will get an appetite so maybe I'll gain weight in the right places (as if)? . I feel like I went too far..just watch for that. It's very easy to get sucked into weight loss extreme

Moisturise! Decent moisturiser too. Get a consult in a department store to get the right sort for your skin type/age. I have lost 3 stone and everyone is telling me I am absolutely glowing. The tan helps for sure 😂 But I have been using high quality moisturiser from the age of 15 and it definitely helps. I have changed the product periodically in line with aging. Some are thick, some are more gel like. It's important to get the right one and it's no use others recommending as they will have different skin types

I’m 46 and haven’t had an increase in wrinkles but my neck was really bothering me. I had a Morpheus 8 treatment (first of three) a couple of weeks ago and it’s lifted my jowl amazingly well. I’m over the moon.

I’m the same. I look older with less fat padding my face out. I’m 48 and have lost 4 stone.

My losses have slowed recently and stabilised for about a month, and I noticed I looked a bit better and less haggard. I think maybe my skin needed a bit of time to ‘catch up’ 😂

Currently not seeing too much loose skin on my body but I exercise a lot so I think that helps.
