What will work on my neck?

I've lost 2.5st but have about the same again to go before I'm anywhere near a sensible weight. It's happening relatively slowly, but even so, my neck has gone from fat to saggy. I'm only in my early 40s! Do neck creams work? I keep seeing adverts for one by Trinny but I'm cynical. I really want my skin there to just magically tighten up - is it possible!?

I’m worried about this too and I’m a lot older than you! Haven’t seen it happen yet but a long way to go. From what I’ve read, slow and steady loss and lots of water will help skin adjust (everywhere).

I simply can’t believe that creams will do anything - how can they, really? I would be delighted to be proved wrong!

I can see a neck lift in my future tbh!

Some possibilities -

Cream - helps my crepey neck skin in morning when I am dehydrated by putting in some moisture until I can drink enough water, but cream effect wears of quickly. Don't see any difference with sagging, but I haven't tried lots of creams
Water - Helps plump up skin, good for skin in general
Botox - seen some people with results - not my thing and I wouldn't keep it up
Face Yoga - Tried it once and thought no way would I keep that up everyday
Time - For your skin to adjust further to the weight loss
Surgery - My fear of surgery outweighs my desire for an improved neck!
Acceptance - This is where I am beginning to think I am likely to sit! Celebrate the health benefits of the several stone losses and accept what I cannot change without invasive interventions.
Hack - Pull loose skin around back neck and fix will a very strong bulldog clip - cover with now thinning hair 🙈

I’d highly recommend Prai neck cream ! I’m 61 and stopped/forgot to use it for a while. It noticed ! I suggest the day and night time ageless neck cream. You can buy duo pack on offer from Boots, M & S, Sephora etc. It isn’t a miracle cream. BUT def makes a difference and an added bonus, it’s smells lush !

I’m 57, I went through a whole pot of the Prai neck cream and didn’t notice an iota of difference 😭
Am currently just using a mixture of retinol, collagen and one of those buzzy led light massager wands. If anything I have a well moisturised neck!
like @WeAllHaveWings has said, acceptance and a bull dog clip is the only thing that will help me!

A bulldog clip really made me howl - some combination of laughter and terror 😅I'm interested in the LED things too, I don't know much about them, off to research.

I think it’s overpriced and just a nice moisturiser, which smooths the crepey skin a bit, as any moisturiser would. It doesn’t firm your neck at all. Thousands of pounds are wasted by those desperate to find something that works. I’ve done it myself. I’ve heard microneedling does make a difference, but it’s expensive, several sessions and has downtime. Non surgical methods often make a little difference for a lot of money! You could try a good quality LED mask, but need to use it consistently.
The gold standard is a neck lift, I’m afraid, until a skin shrinking product is invented.
Out of all the aspects of ageing, the neck fares the worst. Either it becomes like a pleated curtain turkey crop, crinkly and floppy, or it merges with the head to give a bullfrog puffed effect .

Oh my word, you are killing me! Funny but also horrific 😂

I'm going to have to go the bulldog clip route 😂😂 I haven't even finished losing. I just use retinol and hydrate well. Tlc and taking more care such as sweeping upwards has made a difference. We see it but nobody else is going to judge. If they do pity their tiny lives.
