Where to get Mounjaro

I've been looking at starting the injections for a few months now and searched online but haven't actually committed yet.
I had an appointment at a local pharmacy yesterday as they offer weight loss injections - the pharmacist phones every week and at the end of the month, you see the pharmacist face-to-face - which is really good................ however it will be costing a lot more money than if I get it 'online', so I really don't know what to do.
Do I save money or have the advantage of having face-to-face regular appointments with the pharmacist?

I don't know why you'd need to see a pharmacist face to face.

Because I don't know enough about the weightloss injections having never been on them before and it would be reassuring

I think you'd quickly find that level if monitoring to be unnecessary. You could do it for a month if you really wanted to and then move to an online pharmacy instead.

There is plenty of information online from the pharmacies that offer the injections, from big names like Asda, Boots, Superdrug, so lots of things are available to learn about these injections.

Personally I would, and have, save money and ordered online. I've had absolutely no need to ask any questions about the process, and it's been more than 7 months now.

It really depends what you're looking for. I've been on mj since November and after a few weeks I didn't need any reassurance. I did email my prescriber once to ask a question and they got back to me within about a day. I have had a couple of minor side effects (itching around jab site and constipation) so just called into my local pharmacy for relevant medication to manage them.

Some online providers offer support and one to one chats, but if you want f2f then local is your best option. https://monj.co.uk detail additional support options if you scroll down the page a bit.

YouTube videos are available if you want advice on administering the injections and I found this helpful as I'd never done this before. I now do it really easily.

If you want that extra level of support you could always go with the local pharmacy for your first pen then change over to more affordable options after.

As others have said the big brands have loads of detail on their website abput the drug and how it works, side effects ect.
