Medexpress rejecting my pictures

Hi, I know I need to get this right. Any tips or tricks for taking pics to submit? I don't want to ask anyone even DH so trying to take them in the mirror. They've rejected the first ones and I've submitted more. Even wearing a sports bra. The humiliation! Grateful if this has happened to anyone else who can advise please ?

Here are the reputable suppliers, there are two tabs, on4 with discounts applied one without. To be honest, they all seem much of a muchness. And good service. MedExpress were paying folks to post on insta by way of advertising, and the regulators have told them to stop.

Thank you. That's so helpful. Really appreciated.

No probs, and remember a lot of these folks on insta posting the chemist are paid to post their journey on insta and do that. They literally ger thousands. It is being clamped down on but view anyone who is not just telling you their journey but one specific chemist with mistrust.

MedExpress asked repeatedly for my photo (which was unambiguously of a fat me). I think it was a delaying tactic as they have supply issues. I asked for a refund and went elsewhere, successfully, with the same photo.

It clearly says I have to show my face. In good lighting. Will definitely try all of this it they rejected it again. Bikini shot here I come ...

That's so weird when I started they said my face musnt be in the photos, that was in November. Maybe they've changed it IDK.

Ah perhaps it is this. If they don't reply tomorrow or ask for more photos I'll do that too!

Medexpress definitely experiencing difficulties with customer volume just had this from them

"Thank you for your recent order with MedExpress. We wanted to inform you that due to an increase in demand, our clinical team is experiencing a temporary delay of a few days in reviewing and prescribing your treatment. Your order is in our system and will be carefully reviewed by our expert clinical team. We’re doing all we can to rectify the delay, and have brought in additional staff to help reduce the waiting time."

I took my photo wearing granny pants and a tight vest top - depressingly accepted immediately 😅

CatRash · 11/02/2025 21:03

I had problems with MedExpress accepting my photos too - three attempts. I don't think I looked fat enough for them so I stripped down to pants and bra and send them a bonus side-on pictures where I pointed to my tummy.

They prescribed me straight away after that 🤔😅

RememberDecember · 12/02/2025 06:43

I’ve sent photo to medexpress yesterday and waiting to hear. There didn’t seem to be the option of adding a side on tummy shot!

ThingsgetbetterwithalittlebitofRazzmatazz · 12/02/2025 07:00

I had 2 photos rejected so I replied to.their email saying I'm clearly very fat and I had no idea what they wanted from me, but if they couldn't prescribe then please refund. They looked at the photos again and approved the prescription.

CerealPosterHere · 12/02/2025 07:25

I strip off in a shop changing room down to my underwear, harsh lighting and no outer clothes is the way forward.

@Marylou2 i have just had same message, frustrating!

@Marylou2 i have just had same message, frustrating!

I've just had a notification that they've taken my money but no sign of my prescription being approved or shipping details. Just emailed them.
Did they question y our pictures or send you the notification of delays?

Yeah it’s standard to take the money before the approval. They just refund it if the approval doesn’t go through.

Thanks. That's great to know. I'm just keen to start and don't want a long delay.

Yay! They've approved my prescription. The crop top obviously did the trick. Thanks for the advice everyone.

@Marylou2 glad to hear it! When are you going to start?

RememberDecember · 12/02/2025 23:09

Also been approved, looking forward to starting soon!

I'll be starting on the day it arrives! Really hoping it'll be this week. What about you? I lost 60lbs 4 years ago and 20 has crept back on. I'm so keen to see if Mounjaro can stop my "food noise" and curb my appetite. I just can't imagine this happening but hopeful that it will.

No idea when it will actually turn up! I don’t know that I want to be starting just before a weekend to get side effects then, but really there is no ideal time for that!

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 13/02/2025 19:38

I had to do mine twice with a new pharmacy last time. Also full body and face (with photo id separately) and a copy of my existing prescription. All totally within the rules to prescribe. I thought it might be to prove that the photos were "live"/ actually me? I.e. I'm wearing the same clothes, but they're different photos.

Mine's supposed to arrive today. I actually do want to start at the weekend just in case I do get side effects. Would prefer that I have them then rather than at work. Although pretty sure my work anxiety might be the reason I'm gaining weight in the first place. Can't win!

Medexpress rejected my first photo. I cropped it so it appeared closer and they could see my fatness better... they accepted the exact same photo second time round!
