Best med company to use with support?

I was diagnosed with a heart condition last January despite no symptoms (picked up on a Wellness check privately).

The cardiologist offered me a private prescription for weight loss injections due to high BMI but at the time I wasn’t keen. Now I’d like to give Mounjaro a go but he won’t give now without being seen again which is £25.

So I’d like to ideally use a company that offers good online/phone support for GLP 1 meds, as I’m nervous about starting as it is but want to improve my health. Who do you use?

My CRP is high due to endo too so thing these injections may help me in several ways as I’ve read they reduce inflammation too.

thanks

If he's offering you an appointment for only £25 to get this I'd snap his hand off personally since he's been involved in your clinical history and is willing to give you a prescription already.

Other than that, I've heard (although not personally used them!) that Oushk are very good with support. There are some companies that offer it at massively inflated prices but you seem to get tied into a high cost subscription with them. Your other option is to go via a private GP who would check in with you monthly. I've had friends who've done it that way and find it quite reassuring.

£25 to go through a cardiologist? I would totally choose that option!

The support offered by pharmacies will be nothing like someone who's got direct experience of your actual health - including a heart condition.

I would pay that. Doctors at my hometown are charging 210€ for an appointment.

Sorry everyone it’s £250 for the appt!

I asked if I would get support and does the bupa hospital provide the medication. No, just the prescription.

I feel like what’s the point of paying that I’m likely going to charged £250 each time.

I only asked if I could now have the prescription and got told sorry need another appt now.
